That's why you have Adam Schefter. To remind you those things.
i always knew the Raiders had their chances to get both of these guys, but never really cared much to think about the past. but just realized how much different things could be if.......
in 2005, the Raiders selected Aaron Rodgers instead of Fabian Washington (Rodgers was the very next pick)
in 2007 the Raiders selected Calvin Johnson instead of Jafatass Russell (Johnson was the very next pick)
to think, the Raiders very easily could have an offensive core of:
Aaron Rodgers
Darren McFadden
Calvin Johnson
fml
That's why you have Adam Schefter. To remind you those things.
If they got Aaron Rodgers, there's a good chance they are not in position to draft Darren or Megatron.
Rodgers is not the same QB he was coming out.
Learning from the pine and working with McCarthy completely changed him as a player.
But thanks for CJ.
They definitely should have drafted Calvin Johnson. And signed Garcia that season.
the Raiders could also have drafted Jay lol Cutler instead of Michael Huff in 06.
no thanks
they should have traded up to get Vince Young tbh
It's not a fun game to play.
Ray Rice was supposed to be a Lion. Millen called him the night before and said he was the pick if still there.
Ware next to Suh and Fairley sounds early 90s Philly-esque.
It would have never happened, but it's fun to dream about the possibilities of having a consistent, competent FO.
Cards could've gotten Adrian Peterson instead they drafted LOL left tackle Levi Brown (they traded down to get him too).
Every team has a disaster pick story.
never happen.
Al historically is in love with big arm QBs.
Cowboys (and almost any other team) passing on Randy Moss and taking a is up there in most Cowboy fans eyes.
What's worse though is not having picks at all because of a ingly stupid trade for a wide receiver named Roy Williams.
They also almost traded Randy Moss for Aaron Rodgers back in 2007. The only reason the trade didn't happen was cause at the last moment Al Davis wanted Greg Jennings and the trade was beginning to die out after that.
I remember crying after they drafted Washington over Rodgers.
They were actually talking with the Saints a lot to trade up to the #2 pick that year for Vince, cause it was known that Tenn was in love with VY, but when it was announced the Friday before the draft that the Texans would be taking Williams, the Saints pulled out.
he doesn't look a thing like Jesus, but he talks like a gentleman
hi stretch
