Just hire Leach already. I would become a huge Arizona fan if it happened.
They already have a ty ass former Leach assistant trying to run Leach's offense (and doing a horrid job at it). I want Leach here just as much as anybody.
It in sucks they didn't fire Stoops and hire Leach a year ago so we could have had a competent coach for Foles' and Criners' senior year.
Miss watching that air raid offense. And Arizona has arguably better players to run it than Leach ever had at Tech.
And yeah, I have no idea how Stoops has survived this long. ty year after ty year and just because he's Bob's brother, somehow they think he'll pull it out. He won't. He's just not a good HC.
Leach would undoubtedly bring in better recruits here than he was able to at Tech. Stoops has had a few top-20 recruiting classes as a coach with a personality who hasn't done . He'd also be able to surround himself with better assistants, unlike Stoops who has horrible assistants at this point because no one wants to work for him.
Foles played awful. From what I saw, at least.
This is his worst game of the year (he had no interceptions entering this game), and he doesn't have the excuse of no running game and horrible protection like he did in the first 4 games. The O-line has been solid today. I can't say I blame him for not giving a anymore when the entire team has quit and he's spent more time on the ground than he has upright this year.
The fact that Buckner and Criner both have 1 reception each epitomizes how bad this team is at using its best players

If this team didn't give up 3 possession deficits to start every in game they might have actually been in position to win the Stanford or Oregon game and they'd have a really good chance at winning today. Horrible starts where the team looks unprepared and confused usually means bad coaching.
Foles' 2 early interceptions are probably what's gonna make the difference in this game.

Tbh Utah @ Arizona will be an interesting game. Everyone was picking it to be UA's annual "upset" (every year, they'll have one upset but suck against every other good team they play), but by the time that game roles around it could just be the Pac-12 South's bottom feeders fighting it out.

I wasn't claiming his name was in any rumor. But he stepped down to a lower program going to Ole Miss, and probably will again after this season to a mid-major or a program like AZ.
Your obsession with Houston Nutt is unhealthy tbh. I'd tell you to go to a doctor but I'm not sure if they have those in Arkansas.
