Si, me gusta la oficina.
It seems like a glaring omission. It makes me wonder if there are more black and mexican posters than indicated.
Or do blacks and mexicans like the office also? (no racist)
What about the Chitnese? Any of you guys watch The Office?
Si, me gusta la oficina.
it's definitely slipped into average mode without Carell but still worth watching. If you took Dwight out of the show it would flat out bomb by now
I agree that it's impossible to replace Carell. But I think the writing is pretty strong. At least better than any other network sitcom. Although, it's probably going to get goofier and goofier and more slapstick.
In any event, Thor sucked.
Anyone going to see 50/50?
and that's the problem. Still a solid show no doubt, but Carell wouldn't even say anything and it was funny, Ed Helms just isn't that guy. He's really not that funny in anything he does (except when he was the pissed off Ivy League prick in the first few episodes he did)
I'm still watching it. I will not compare Andy to Michael. No way you can. With that said, its just a new turn for the show. Michael is gone and Andy took over his place. I still think the show is hilarious. I don't think Andy will last this whole season as manger.
I don't think so either, I hope not. I was really hoping for an outside guy. Spader is awesome as the big boss though. Hilarious
very boring. they need to make the episodes more dwight centric.
I was anticipating the Will Ferrell episodes but they bombed, hard. James Spade was an awesome pick for the new boss though. Not liking Andy too much as regional manager. I wish James Spade was regional manager in the office with Andy and the rest as underlings though.
The show was dying last year and was rarely funny then, but these first two episodes this season have been pretty solid. The Will Ferrell idea was particularly awful; it would have killed the show had that been anything long-term.
I think the whole Jim and Pam thing is played out. I wouldn't mind seeing both of them gone. It worked great while there was some tension but now, there isn't much point. If they're going to do this new parent thing, why make crappy Up All Night also?
Are you guys serious about The Office still being hilarious? Since Steve Carell left, this show has gone down hill so fast. NBC should have cancelled it last season in my opinion. This show just isn't that funny anymore. There are some funny moments but it's just not the same. Michael Scott made The Office funny. With that character gone, it's hard to make up for that loss. And I definitely agree about the Jim and Pam thing being played out. Jim is a bag and Pam comes off as an uppity . They act like they are king and queen of the office. The only character that has stayed the same on The Office is probably Creed.
Completely agree. I was almost dreading the season premiere, and was very pleasantly surprised.
I'm getting a little nervous, though, as to what they're planning to do w/ Andy's character. He's obviously always been a ing goober -- ridiculously awkward and whatnot -- but the things they have him doing seem entirely TOO Michael-like. The whole Indian-style on Jim's desk thing? Tha ? Way too ing forced. Way too ing Michael.
People still watch theffice?
Parks & Rec >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Carell was great because of what he DIDN'T do. His facial expressions and reactions to the stupid situations he'd put himself in were completely awkwardly realistic. Andy was a great extra character, like Ryan and Kevin and Stanley, but he can't just pop in to the spotlight with the same character and he sure as can't convert to Carell's awesomeness
that show ing BLOWS. I tried watching it and I wanted to like it but was completely upset. I've heard it's gotten better but I still can't stand the y cast. Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, and especially that Aziz guy ing annoy me
The first season blows. Season 2-3 is gold.
Community is also awesome. The office has been since the 4-5 season.
Parks and Recreation has Ron Swanson. That pretty much puts it over The Office.
Last night's episode may have been the worst ever. The only thing remotely funny was Dwight running the forklift through the wall and Erin's subsequent shriek. I was hopeful after the first two shows this season but now...not so much.
Yeah, yesterday's episode was bad like last year's.
dwight is pretty much the only consistently funny character left. darryl has some goodness from time to time but they're giving him drama roles instead of wisecrack smartass role which is much better suited to him.
every character obviously has some lols but not enough characters who consistently bring the lols. andy unfortunately brings very few lols to the table and the show is becoming very centric on his character.
I've caught up watching Community in like three or four days. With the declining of the Office and IASIP somewhat, it's a nice change and fills the hole left from Scrubs when it was good. I also really like the characters like Troy, Abed, Pierce, Chang, the Dean, etc etc., oh and Alison Brie is easy on the eyes to say the least.
Pfft Team Britta all day son
