let's face it the last year of a players time with a team is usually really really bad for that player...the fate of Timmy will be no different...when he starts playing like the we know is coming, and when people keep raggin on him about his ty play and high pay he will crack and get mad...man what I'd give to see this ...it could be a possibility...if he feels they treating him wrong in SA and hassling his old ass about his unbalanced pay..

Duncan coming off of Kobe's Bench to relieve Pau would be OUTSTANDING... I'd even trade Odom, Blake, and Artest for Duncan just for the sheer purpose of making a fool out of him and tanish his legacy on Kobe's bench...

in fact it's the only way he'll win another ring if he's willing to play the role of Kobe's 6th man... Kobe would embrace him and treat him like an elder statesmen on the team...all we need his for him to pledge that loyalty...

you are 100% correct. duncan wont fill gaps because LA has 2 centers starting and kobes not gonna shoot 45%.

I think Duncan, early in his career, up to his prime, would have to problem playing 2nd fiddle to Kobe, if that were the ideal team setup...

Not so sure that he could do it now... Also depends if:
Kobe got moved to Tim's team.
Tim got moved to Kobe's team.
Tim and Kobe joined forces on a completely different team...
