Please do not compare Romo to Dirk. Romo has won 1 playoff game. Dirk has been to the WCF 3 times, and the Finals twice. And let's not forget that Dirk has a damn championship ring. The only ring Romo has is a wedding ring.

Exaggerate much? agree though Romo to Lebron or even dirk is a bad comparison. He has put up some good numbers but has not accomplished nearly as much as either player.
To me the Farve comparisons are the most accurate. Romo is poor man's Brett. You take away the one Super Bowl and obviously Farve was a MVP (Romo just a Pro bowler) and a much larger body of work and Farve's unclutch bonehead decision making is almost as legendary as Romo's ...but he won a le and that changes everything (perception-wise) for me, Farve is overrated. (Romo maybe too). To me winning just one like Farve, Young and Manning means you are great but give me Montana, Aikman and Brady. Winning multiple especially if you can lead a repeat means a lot more than a one and done ilst.
and yes I am a Cowboys fan have been since both the raiders and Rams left Los Angeles ...

Pre 2011 Dirk > Tony Romo. Before 2011, Dirk had played in the Finals, went to the WCF twice, and gotten out of the first round 6 times. Romo has only won 1 playoff game in his wonderful career. The comparison does not make sense.

While Dirk's overall numbers in the playoffs may had been solid (as are Romo's to a lesser extent), he either didnt step up or completely disappeared and let Terry take most of the shots in crucial moments. even went as far as calling Terry Dallas' closer at one point. Similarly Romo tends to up in the most inopportune moments. Although to be fair Romo has stepped into that chair in D-town and not only replaced Dirk, but has proven to be an even bigger choker.
