Face it..D Fish is a stand up guy...I love the guy and I think he's an honorable human being...he also happens to hold your future happiness, short and long term in the palm of his hands...He's not only fighting for the players but he's fighting for the fans...A Laker is responsible for that keen anticipation you feel in your fat ass guts about next season...A Laker will determine how much $$$ you potentially spend on Spurs tickets next season...A Laker will determine your basketball conversations going forward...A Laker will determine whether Timmy or Dirk plays this year or not...

yes hes doing great things for the fans by fighting for players to have bigger undeserving contracts & forcing a lockout. yes hes all about the fans.
Don't get me wrong it's still 5 to 4 but my Laker brothers bear with me...I was just looking at this John Thompson interview with Duncan from 2005 and tbh it seems like Duncan may be more down than we thought. From my perspective Timmy made John look foolish in this interview...John kept trying to paint Timmy as this really good guy and a great role model and what I saw ( through my skeptical view) was Timmy deflecting...and playing it down...John even tried to get him to say something negative about the Artest brawl at the Palace and Timmy surprisingly said if Artest was his teammate he would defend him...I was shocked...I had him pegged as a pussy all the way didn't think he would fight back after seeing KG spit in his face and slap him upside the head. Despite the tongue ring I don't think he's gay for now...
he also likes white nookie so from that perspective he thinks like me...sorry midget it's a brotha thang...
I guess what I'm really trying to say is Duncan may not be the nice guy they make him out to be...He prolly has some real skeletons in his closet...he may even embrace parts of the thug life...and I willing to imagine the possibility of a bad boy Duncan...the tongue ring thing was prolly just him lashing out at D-Rob for all that gotdam preaching...
Duncan is just as phony as the next in the line. He caught a hanger there in San Antonio and is under their protection. That's his thing and he's cultivated it to his advantage.
The positive? Is what you see.
The negative? No repeat. A 2 year steady diet of Kobe's do-do.

I might also add almost 5% of Kobe's career total points have come off the Spurs making him truly a Spurs killa...Of his 27868 career points ( # 6 all-time at the moment) he's scored 1266 of those directly on Timmy and the Spurs....
