    Ben Wallace

    4 DPOY
    1 LOB

    Tim Duncan

    0 DPOY
    4 LOBs
    2 MVPs
    3 Finals MVPs
    1 RotY

I wonder if Ben'd wanna play "trade tha trophies"...

Meh, I'd say he's probably content with two MVPs and all those defensive first teams he made.

Probably about as awesome as all the times Kobe has been blocked in his career, which as we know from experience now, was really quite a few!

So I guess now this becomes an conversation about the subjective experience of relative humiliation in basketball? Okay, so here's a low post player, who spends most of his time close to the basket, which makes him prone to being dunked on simply because of his location on the court. He gets dunked on a lot; cool, I'd be willing to say that all defense-minded low post players in the NBA have been dunked on a couple dozen times. Think about Tim's detached personality, too.

Compare this with a fiery "Ayyo I'mma come 'n you up" Kobe Bryant mentality. He's a perimeter player, hurling himself into the paint, getting ready to "ceremonially ejaculate" on his prey, when all of a sudden he finds his hands on the rim and the ball is thirty feet away, swatted by a nasty defender. Yowch, hanging on the rim, no ball and no points, totally embarrassed by that defender, which will get into his head because he is so emotional, and either make him play harder because he is embarrassed or make him become disheartened and give up or go 6-24.
