I just recently started to play Demon's Souls and I'm a lvl 22 wanderer with 11 hrs into the game. I've only completed levels 1-1 and 2-1 so far. What a ing brutal game that isn't forgiving when it comes to the player's mistakes. Saying all that, it's taught me how to be patient and not yell bloody murder every time I die.
Yep, getting it for the PS3 when I can. I don't know, though, since I want to get Arkham City, L.A. Noire, and Uncharted 2.
Don't bother with LA Noire.

PS3 tbh. I don't mind buying games I think will be good or are good.
I could pirate this on the 360 if I wanted to.

Fun game. Got it yesterday. Only played about a hour of it but the beginning wasn't as hard as Demon souls beginning.
I've been playing all day.
My buddy keeps trying to get me to buy this off of him cause he hates it. And I typically call him for his opinion on games and such because he has good taste and isn't bias over what he likes. So if he hates it, I know I will. Said it's a copy-cat game that they tried hard not to make very obvious too.
What's the plot of the game anyways? I saw it previewed on Xbox Live but they Asian guy talking about it sounded really confused and unsure of his answers.

Looks like a poor mans TES that is far more simple to manage from watching some vids now. Graphics look average as well.

I have the first and its an odd sort of fun but it will be a long time before I'm ready for this one.
What a great in game. Does anyone know if blacksmiths repair crystal weaponry? I know you can't repair them at bonfires but I can't find a straight answer about blacksmiths on-line yet. Nothing worse than wasting thousands of souls on something you can't effin repair.. I'm contemplating killing the who sold it to me even if I can.
You can't. They're unrepairable. He sells good armor down the line. Don't kill him(armor of bosses you have beat).
It took me eight or so hours to reach and defeat those gargoyles. I ed up. I probably lost more souls than I used.

What the am I supposed to do with all the extra equipment that I don't need?
Maybe someone can help me out here. I've been playing a pyromancer and investing heavily in intelligence, thinking it would help me do more damage to enemies. So far, it hasn't seem to have done anything. I don't know how to increase the number of fireballs I can shoot, or where to find different fire spells. I am stuck at the boss fight with two gargoyles because I think I've ed myself with a misplacement of stats. I never played demon souls, and can't seem to get a straight answer for dark souls because I'm not familiar with the terminology.
you are doing the right thing putting souls into intelligence if you're a pyromancer. The thing is, pyromancers start at lvl 1 so you may need to do some grinding (ie gain a few extra levels farming souls) in order to be up to par to other classes at the same stage of the game, especially early on.
After leveling to 50 though you stop getting much of a boost from both faith and intelligence, IIRC
