No damn wonder. This time, unlike in '06 he didn't step out the side door.

Your mother.
Nope but there is a correlation. Against all odds of that correlation players who have be drafted low or not drafted at all have flourished next to Timmy. The same can't be said for Kobe. Both of those players have played with Kobe and he couldn't do with them. One has to wonder what would have happened if they got the opportunity to play next to Duncan. I mean look what happened to un-drafted Bowen when he got play with Duncan. If Duncan had turned these players careers around you'd probably be saying something about the organizations that gave up on great talent to early.
^Duncan's inability to repeat is a terrible stain and his cross to bear.
And on this Forum he will bear it.
2000-hurt
2004-he lost Speedy,Jackson, David, etc.(if only Spurs had money like the Lakers, perhaps they could have even got David to return)
2006-had a great opportunity to repeat
2008-Kobe just had way more talent on his team. As did the Celtics. It's simply not a reasonable expectation.
Those are excuses. If Kobe hadn't repeated you guys would be all over us like a cheap suit. And you'd be within your rights. Therefore it is only right & proper that you suffer for Duncan's inability to repeat.
And you will suffer.
Past Prime-For Duncan when came
