Can't wait for the next kill missions sponsored by McAfee![]()
"A computer virus has infected the pits of America's Predator and Reaper drones, logging pilots' every keystroke as they remotely fly missions over Afghanistan and other warzones. The virus, first detected nearly two weeks ago by the military's Host-Based Security System, has not prevented pilots at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada from flying their missions overseas. Nor have there been any confirmed incidents of classified information being lost or sent to an outside source. But the virus has resisted multiple efforts to remove it from Creech's computers, network security specialists say. And the infection underscores the ongoing security risks in what has become the U.S. military's most important weapons system.'"

ing drone continues flying until it runs out of fuel and ends up in another country, all because it's resources are taxed by a real time virus scan.
Wtf... they don't have a clean software version to turn back to? God damn that pisses me off. I'm some low level base network tech, and I'm pretty sure I could at least know well enough to have those prepared.
The US Air Force severely understaffs IT depts, while simultaneously touting Cyberspace as the next great domain of warfare. It boggles the mind. When the network goes down, nothing happens on base. And yet, they constantly shortchange us on funds and manpower.

Sounds I might be able to get a job there after acquiring citizenship...

Don't know. You should ask a , IMO.
He still won't tell me what type of a Latino/Hispanic a is.

I had my first computer at 6 years old. Started programming at 8. I guess I was fortunate enough to know what I liked early on, and be able to make a living off it. I also have formal education in electronics.
I just took it for the usual slang term, tbh:

Ha! I've still got 8 more years to go... I hate to throw the 12 I've invested away! Plus, I'm pretty sure that you'd be providing a good 75% of the brainpower.
What?
Nope. ZX spectrum clone to start, a Commodore 64 shortly after. From the on it was varied systems.
I see, so you want to start a consulting company and retire at the same time...![]()
lol South America being 3rd world.
There's plenty of need in medical device applications........
My brainpower would then shrink to about 5% of the company.
Of course, I would have a slight amt of knowledge about the ins/outs of the military, but I'm pretty sure there's others out there with that info.![]()
Heck, we've already built a EMR at work a few years back. We're currently working on updating it to 5010 standards for Medicare. Can you believe they just now will start accepting claims trough the internet?![]()
