I'd give up RJ, and maybe Bonner if I had to.

Apart from that, nothing. The Rugby World Cup keps me entertained right now, and there's always something else to watch or do.

I'd give up the NBA's integrity. They should just acknowledge that a lot of it is fake and predetermined, like in wrestling.
You've got no room. You've fed at that trough of ill gotten gain just like we have.

    Sssshhh.

    Nothing...

I would rather there be no NBA season at all than to watch the POP/BONNER combo continue to ruin the Spurs ...

I would just miss watching Manu play though.

If you can give me ONE reason why the league would in any way help a small market team who's players shun attention and that plays at a slow pace and draws historically low ratings in the playoffs, I'll have a discussion about this. There's just no reason at all for the NBA to do what you're claiming, and Stern is NOT signing off on anything that is not of benefit to the NBA.

    Not one damn thing.

I have baseball for the next month, football until February, and NCAA March madness after that, leading into the start of another baseball season. F'em if they're too greedy to divide up a pie larger than most country's budgets.
    Baseball?!?!?!?!?!?

The funny thing is that I think most fans feel the same way. They've turned off a lot of their fans. They're gonna have some work to do to fix things with the fans. I'm not even missing it. Maybe it's because we aren't relevant anymore but I could care less right now.

This. Most fans don't care about the NBA until the turn of the new year.

i didn't want the strike, but... i'm actually enjoying the time off from being a fan. i don't have to spend so much time checking stats, scores, and message boards, and i have hours of free formerly t.v. time because there are no games to watch.

Yeah but we'd be talking preseason games, training camp, who looks good etc etc...I don't miss any of it.

The longer this lockout goes, the less I find myself caring. I've been completely disenchanted by this whole ordeal.

Which is exactly what the NBA SHOULD be afraid of, yet fails to acknowledge. If even die hard fans are losing interest, how much will the casual fan care?

Casual fan doesn't have a horse in the race and doesn't really care since casual fan doesn't watch until the all-star break.

David Stern's ticket to a long awaited exit?

    I hope so

Doubt it. Despite the fact that this is the SECOND lockout under his watch, Stern doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot of negative publicity in this deal. People either seem to be siding with the owners, or with the players, but no one seems to be talking about the bag commissioner that has let things get this far, and has nothing better to do than say "both sides are still far apart".
