I can just see a bunch of techies hiding behind a bush waiting for Byrne to show up.

.....Texas Tech's investigation revealed that the buses had washable shoe polish on them and there was fish bait inside one of the buses. The mess was also cleaned before Byrne saw it, though a strong smell lingered.

In his Wednesday Weekly column on Texas A&M's website, Bill Byrne had this to say:

"I don’t feel the need to defend my comments about the incident in Lubbock because whatever was thrown on that bus sure stunk and I know vandalism when I see it. I took personal offense just as I would have if someone did this to my own car. This was a first in my 28 years as an Athletic Director ... and hopefully a last."

No, apparently he doesn't really know vandalism when he sees it.

I'm going to be sorry to see him and A&M go to the SEC.....

Classiness would be a "corps" member throwing actual (not stink bait) onto the longhorn band.....

Or one of those milkman cheerleaders yelling terrible things about Joe Pa.

    So in classy

don't keep up with shticks like some obviously do.

When I threw up the Arky and Okie St skins, it seemed to magically bring a loss to the Ags.
When I threw up my usual skin, a smell worse than crap magically appeared on the Aggy bus.

Just trying to keep the streak alive.
So, the long-running forum skin joke brought a W to every team but yours? And you continue to do it?

    lol proving DT's point
    lol bsessed w/ aggy

I remember Ryan Tannehill's first day on campus during his recruiting visit.....I thought, what a good looking young man......

.... I recall the first meeting he came in with a scab on his nose from a helmet collision. We talked about it and formed a relationship that has blossomed over the last four years.

Some of you may have missed a statement I released last Friday evening concerning future scheduling with our friends in the state capital.

After placing calls to Texas, we learned in an e-mail their non-conference football schedule is full through 2018. I have asked our coaches in all of our other sports to check with their Texas counterparts to see if they would like to continue to play in non-conference action in years to come.

I agree it will be very difficult to schedule on Thanksgiving week in football because the SEC has a championship game the following week while the Big 12 does not. So, the Big 12 has scheduled marquee conference games in the last week of November and the first week in December beginning this season. This means we would likely need to play our friends in the state capital in early September. Our new issue is that we will likely be scheduling SEC games in the month of September as part of their TV package. That will make it doubly hard.
I hope to hear aggy complain some more about how t.u. won't play them even though aggy is willing.

Here are some things many of you have suggested that our coaches need to do to make us better in no particular order: Don’t turn the ball over, hang on to the football, don’t throw interceptions, wrap up when you tackle, get leverage when you block, stuff the receiver at the line of scrimmage, control the line of scrimmage, and have a fanatical effort. Why do I mention these? Because these are things I hear our coaches instructing our athletes to do daily when I go to practices.

The point is, we all want to win. But, we must hold on to the ball to give ourselves a chance.

I’ve been hearing from some of you who are suggesting options for me to consider. One emailer provided me the number of the local bus company and a map of all roads leading out of Aggieland. Another sent me a Google list of moving and storage companies in south Texas and suggested we start a bidding process to help me move. I appreciate all the information, and I’ve put it in a special place.

.....I arrived home grumpy. I try to never do that. I couldn’t sleep Saturday night and was probably not much fun to be around Sunday either.

Byrne didn't want Sherman gone. Huge Sherman backer.

As these events unfold, it seems Byrne was more self-serving than I thought. Was acting in his best interests instead of the University's.. shameful.

Lol I think Byrne has had enough. He'll be on his way out soon (whether he finishes out his current contract or not). He did a great job at A&M outside of football.

    $$$$

Rumor is Kentucky's AD was on campus today and could replace Byrne. No idea how accurate that is.

Are you an Aggy Booster? I would be irate at the way that program wastes money.

You'd rather have a program that keeps a coach that had a preseason top 10 ranking, a ton of returning starters, and finishes the season 6-6 and is .500 after 4 years?
