Okay, I'm hearing "rave" reviews for this remake and I have no desire to watch it. I'm sure the younger crowd and even some of my generation will find it to be entertaining and even better than the original....I don't think so.

I might watch a remake of "Animal House," but footloose? no. Didn't like the original.

As terrible as the first one was (yea, yea it was "classic") I can't imagine it would be too difficult to improve But I won't be going to see it just because I hate the "classic" so much.

Well the buzz is this movie is better than the first which I can believe since it is updated and the kids seeing this movie are of the current era.
