That comparison doesn't even make any sense.

a premature YOU goes out to all the haters

No one gives a ^ .

Lulz. Anybody actually listened to the lyrics of their wildly popular song? 'Cause I sure as hadn't.
Uh yeah. Friend said she liked it cause it was a happy tune. I had to inform her of the lyrics.
Yeah. Everybody likes how "up-beat" and "fun" it is. Case in point:
You like The Hills, so pardon me if I take your prefs with a LARGE grain of salt.
lol, hipster snobbish "I liked them when the weren't popular, but now that they are, they suck" at ude.
I think that's what they were trying to get across.
how could you not? I'm HORRIBLE at hearing lyrics and I knew this.
And what a baby this guy is. Is he still living in 1950? I wonder how he took it when A Clockwork Orange came out. After all, it shows a woman being raped and the guy singing Singin in the Rain. Or what about when those coloreds sang The Police? I bet he also wanted all the GTA games takin off the shelves
What? Think you missed Fpoonsie's point.
Song is funny.
I was at work and they either play the mega mainstream station or the dad rock station with the same 20 songs every day. They played Like a G6, Pumped Up Kicks and that dubstep song all in a row. Just sort of made me laugh.
What made it funny was this Mexican lady at work who can barely understand English was singing the entire song.
they played this song nonstop on the radio during july august
there was a "point" beyond just him not listening to the lyrics?
too long winded, didn't read
I got a little nauseous when I realized this wasn't a parody article/website like The Onion.
What a sad life to live when you micro-analyze every piece of pop culture all for the sake of maintaining a certain status among those whose "alternative" lifestyle no one else gives a about
And my point is in #7 text.
