Unfortunately for the GOP, they still have to retract the role of their intransigence, which can be proven about as well as your cherry-picked graph.
Cherry-picked? Are there other unemployment graphs out there from which I could have chosen?

And, the Republican intransigence is the only thing keeping this administration from completely running the bus off a cliff. To the electorate, that's going to be a feature, not a bug.

This kid will be one of the 53%

He might become one of the 1%. Probable at least in the top quintile.

We'll see. Certainly not a feature to the 9% unemployed right now.

Totally. Let's bet money on this fictional person who is so awesome and street-smart that he won't reveal his face.

... sounds like Wall St. material to me.

I'd like to hire that little slave laborer. He can work for me, and then I'll strip his benefits and salary and tell him to dance for me.

There are people in the 1% that started that way or, in a worse position. There are probably people in the 1% that would be in the Occupy movement if it had occurred when they were similarly situated.

Says the person who is also the medium for what these occupiers think.

Pretty sure Henry Ford was too busy working to write some bull heart-string-tugging ideological plea to the world.

I'm going to say I'm about as right as you are unless you can prove otherwise.

At any given time, they're still the 1%. Once upon a time, the 1% was called the 20%...

Which is what the 53% are mocking. The idiotic 99%-ers that should be out trying to find something productive to do instead of writing "some bull heart-string-tugging ideological plea to the world."

Apparently you missed the 99%-er website that was doing this same thing. The 53%-ers are mocking them and telling them how they should be reacting to their situation.

Google "I am the 99%" and look at the images. They're all over the place.

    Pretty stupid, huh?

I picked one from the web at random...

    I am the 99%

I wanted to become a Science teacher

    But

I’m shrouded in inflated student debts I didn’t foresee.
Don't they have to apply for student loans and sign contracts?

    And

Teachers do not get the support and pay they deserve; Hence a terrible education.
This has been a complaint of teachers for decades. Sounds like he picked a major for which he wasn't suited.

Because stupid people do stupid things, seemingly non-stupid people do stupid things?

Is that the rationale we're looking at here?

    Another:
I know no creative person that can thrive in this economy.

I guess the 99%-er doesn't follow the New York Times Bestseller list or own a kindle or visit a bookstore or buy newspapers and magazines.

Creative people are thriving in this economy.

Maybe the 99%-er is a lousy writer. Frankly I wasn't impressed with the prose used in the note.

Three year hiring freeze? Might have seen a problem coming if you'd paid attention. Could have even changed your major.

I wonder how far handwriting like that will get someone in life also.
