It did....for like one episode. Part of me wishes that Dexter carried on with his brothers plan and the season carried on like that until exploded and he got caught. And there wasn't really that important of a moment for Dexter to pull a 180 like that and drive back to Miami. Whatever, I guess its what was best for the series.
Nebraska was still one of my favorites of the season. That american gothic was priceless.

btw, Trinitys daughter killing herself Trinity style was some daaaaark .

But that trip could still blow up in Dexters face. Deb's pissed about it, and Dexter kept that pen from the motel. The same motel whose owner Dexter sloppily killed.
