It takes 9 to win 1

It's gonna happen for the Rangers tomorrow. Just believe.
Throw every tired cliche in the book into this thread. Because you gotta keep the faith.
1.
Believe.
Also, just to confess my Rangerfan sins to appease the Baseball Gods, here goes. I was wrong about Beltre. He was worth the money.
also, the Rangers are gonna win one for whottt.

In a world of hype, we just win.
Strive for one!
We're going to win in spite of Bud Selig not wanting the boring Rangers winning a le.
someone betta call the No limit army commander!
Or a 15-paragraph story from Ed Helicopter Jones...
I'm in. Let's complete the comeback Cards!
I have no horse in the race. I'm just watching as a fan of baseball. But if the Rangers win tomorrow against Carpenter in St. Louis, they'll definitely have earned it. Should be fun.
Think it's bull that the Rangers don't have home field.....it's pretty hard for an AL team to win with NL rules....not impossible but tough....Washington has no clue how to manage this games...too complex

It's over. The Rangers blew it.
I can't take this anymore.
They refuse to use DUST on Al Jefferson. Then they spend it immediately to get Tyson ing Chander??????????????????????????????????????
After months of hyping the "DUST chip" and promising miracles, I knew after the Jefferson debacle Cuban was going to have to scramble and use it before a fan mutiny was on his hands. I figured he'd go after the best deal available, Iggy/Brand. Instead he panic trades DUST for TYSON ING CHANDLER?????????
I've had it.
YOU MARK
YOU DONNIE
YOU RICK
TYSON ING CHANDLER, ARE YOU GUYS ING TING ME????????
Like I was saying...
This only works for the Spurs chinaman. Enjoy your sore ass for the next week.
obsessed with picklebreaths' posts. mono just be anti-jinxing that team imho he was actually more jubilant then anyone upon TC's arrival imho. TC be da that made the change, Tyson MF'N Chandler S
Btw I could care less about this series. I'm a Mavs fan. Not a Rangers fan. Baseball is a boring sport anyways. Congrats to the Cardinals. You deserved it.
Could you possibly suck more mav krew than you currently do?
So why the are you posting here?
It's the world series. That alone makes it interesting. I'll be done with baseball talk soon. So don't worry.
How many teams will you jump ship on this season?
I was with you, Mono. I believed. I always have. My record of Rangers fandom speaks for itself.
A big " you!" to the bandwagoners who fell off tonight. Maybe next year tickets will go down in price again since you ers won't be there to drive the prices up. Assholes!
Anyone who pays attention to the team knows the future is still very bright. Lots of young pitching on the farm. I will take this heartache ANY DAY over getting swept by the mother ing Yankees each postseason or finishing in last and never even making the playoffs. Wasn't that long ago. The majority of the Rangers "fans" in this forum won't know what I'm talking about without a visit to Wikipedia. Assholes!
Teams in DFW just can't handle pressure. The Mavs were able to pull off their miracle because no one expected them to do it. They had also choked in the Finals in 2006 then let the Warriors on them in 2007. Expectations were lowered after that. Expectations were high for the Rangers once they got in the ALCS this year. A World Series championship was expected. The Stars and Cowboys of the 1990s never really choked because those teams were awesome and were stacked with great hall of fame players.
I think eventually Rangers fans will move on. They probably won't ever forget but they will move on and continue to support the Rangers. That's what true fans do. Fans of the Cubs and Indians have done it so I'm sure Rangers fans can do it. Even Brewers fans have done it and their team hadn't done for almost 30 years until this year. What about Mariners fans? Their team has never even been to the World Series. You can look at it two ways: be happy that they had back to back AL pennants or and cry and go back to the days where they got their ass kicked by the Yankees in the first round.
Interesting fact: The team that has eliminated the Rangers in the 5 times the Rangers have been in the playoffs has gone on to win the World Series every time. Weird.
elmar, the out of nowhere goods.
if you would've told me four years ago that we would turn into the Buffalo Bills of mlb i would be ecstatic. Other than obviously developing (or getting one through free agency) a frontline starter, this team doesn't need to make any major moves. Just keep the same core together and keep trying to get one.
