It's to be determined. If the Rangers pull off the miracle and win game 7, then it's Mavs. However, if the Rangers complete the chokejob and lose game 7 then they get that honor.
Blowing a 3-2 lead in the World Series is worse than blowing a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals. Just think about it. When you're up 3-2, you are one win away from the championship. When you're up 2-0, you still got to win 2 more games.

Nonetheless, one hit on 2 strikes is not uncommon. It is not inconceivable to get a big hit with 2 strikes. Rangers had a 3 run inning. It was the Cardinals turn. They got too good of hitters to feel comfortable with a 2 run lead in the final inning. Especially since it was their strongest part of their lineup.
