UCA/financial sector already runs govt. That's why the country and planet has become so ed up financially, environmentally, and will continue unstoppably to get worse. OWS won't elect enough, any, legislators to change/stop anything. Repugs ignore their own base, 70% of which wants EPA left untouched, wants Medicare untouched.

If the financial sector needed him, or needed to get rid of him, they'd buy him, or contribute against him, as readily as they do with any legislator.

Is the reason Ron Paul didn't receive any money from large corporations because he isn't beholden to them, or because no one thought he stood a chance of winning and didn't want to waste money?
Do you really think that if he got the nomination, those corporations wouldn't be plying him with bagfuls of donations?
