They look nice, I wouldnt mind having one at all, but I wont give up my future classic Pontiac unless I have to.

Last muscle Car Pontiac ever made....

2009 G8 GT (of course there is a GXP, which I hate not waiting for, but ohh well).

and mine is part of the first 889 club for 2009.... My car is numbered 116.

Those Genisis are ing sweet though, if I ever got rid of my G8, I'd probably get one of those.... or wait for the possible V8 Nissan 370.

The Hyundai Coupe is ing sweet though... Here is the Rally version. My car is WAY too heavy for that ...

Still, as long as its street, I have nothing to worry about...

I actually looked at G8's online last year. They are very nice. I'm more of a two door coupe person though...and the Genesis fit the bill perfectly as you are not jammed inside of it like most two door coupes. It's surprisingly roomy. The back seat is even usable.

Yeah, I needed a 4 door though at the time.... I REALLY looked at the Genisis alot but had to go with the G8.... Now Im paying for it when it comes to gas. Still, I love my car.

I see 2009 G8's on ebay with TWICE the millage I have going for $24,000 so I should be OK if I decide to sell it.

I will see what is out there when I pay off my G8 or (gulp) decide to get rid of it.... If Nissan comes out with a V8 version of the 370, which they might since they partnered with BMW or Mercedes, cant remember which......

ing 370z with a V8? Im ing down for that !!!

    Vette killer!!!

You may get your Vette killer in a Hyundai....

    Just the Facts:

-Hyundai is not ruling out a limited-run production version of the Rhys Millen Racing RM500 Genesis Coupe that bowed at the 2011 SEMA Show, the automaker tells Inside Line.

-The automaker says "anything is possible" as it closely watches the reaction to the Genesis Coupe with the 5.0-liter Tau V8 engine.

-Rhys Millen will continue to work on the car after the SEMA show as it gets prepped for track-based events in the U.S., the automaker said.

Looked at the Genesis, Rx8, and 370z about 3 months ago. Was very impressed with it and you're right, the amount of room inside surprised me. Great car tho brah, a little jealous

Still hard for car snobs to shake off the stigma in the Hyundai name but that company is rising real fast.
Hyundai is going to release a 2012 model that can go head to head with a mustang GT and a BMW M3.

If that V8 Coupe comes to life(betting it will, as the coupe is on the same frame as the sedan that already houses the motor) then it really is game time for Hyundai. 450hp? Your buddy in his Camaro SS is going to piss himself when he's staring at your tail lights.

Speaking of the Camaro, is that a good car? I don't know much about cars tbh, but I really like the way the Camaro looks, and I'm seriously considering getting it as my next car.

The Camaro looks good but I hear it's hard to see out of. Haven't heard about any issues about them mechanically. I'd have check my Consumer Reports guide to see how they rated. I also chose the Genesis Coupe because I have a daughter and it actually has a functional back seat...which the Camaro does not.

If you are single and just want a sports car I'm sure the Camaro is fine. I chose the Genesis not only for the looks but because is was versatile enough to work in my life.

Their design department is also paying attention to what the masses want.

If the Hyundai Veloster comes out with a turbo inline 4, I will buy it as soon as it comes out. Lime green turbo veloster will be a perfect match for my soon to be truck orange Ford Raptor.

Drove a 2010 camaro for like 1.5 years and the visibility is . Windshield is small, back window is small and the mirrors are small. You'll hit a lot of curbs when you first start driving it because of all the blind spots. Not much room in it either but that car has plenty of power.

The one from my post above with the hood up is a picture from SEMA. The car is one that Hyundai had Rhys Millen build and it's not available for purchase yet from Hyundai. Here's what was said by the Hyundai spokesman:
"All I can say is we're really excited at how cleanly and easily Rhys got the (V8) engine to fit," said Miles C. Johnson, a Hyundai Motor America spokesman in a phone conversation on Wednesday with Inside Line. "Anything is possible."

Johnson emphasized that a production version is "not a 'go' project yet." But he added: "We're here to gauge reaction and we know that for years enthusiasts have asked us when we're going to put a V8 in the Genesis Coupe."
I feel like they are going to do it. It looks more like a production car than a show car right now.
How has the car been? Did you get the automatic?
Yeah...it was the best deal. I drive a lot in the city too so it makes sense.

As far as the car itself goes, it's been loads of fun to drive. The best word I can give you for it is "decisive." If you are going 45-50 and push the pedal 3/4's of the way to the floor you will be at 90 before you get a chance to look down at the speedometer. Corners I used to feel in my old car are not much different then driving straight and I never imagined I'd get around an 18 wheeler so quickly.

Another perk for someone looking for a functional sports car is the trunk is huge. A heaping full grocery cart full of groceries will fit in it comfortably.
