I had no doubt this would happen. Good to see us do our thing. Only negative was the coaches using Bergeron in the 4th and ing up his hamstring. Hopefully its not serious.

100,500 people. I guess that's "somewhat" empty

"but but but it was only the fresh Texas Tech starters!!!!"
well anybody who's watched texas tech football this season shouldnt be surprised with this result
why? iowa state beat us by more with half the talent.
the story shouldn't be about ut, it should be about how historically bad tech is against the run
it's a lot easier to fill a high school stadium

It's funny that Mike Leach takes tons of criticism for how bad Tech's defense was during his tenure there when it's as bad as it ever was with a "defensive minded" SEC coach at the helm.
why? because tekk has played well against quality teams, even beating ou in Norman (no small feat). after a huge letdown against an inferior iowa state team, though Rhodes understands Tubberville's system well, tekk should have had no issues being fired up against (and especially so) t.u.
instead, t.u. curb stomped tekk by manhandling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. not coincidentally, a lot of this momentum (for t.u.) was created when they decided to drop the dual quarterback system (always a good call). And Ash actually looks like a good leader.
AKA, I think t.u. has made tremendous improvement since the oklahoma game. what was a sure win for the Ags this Thanksgiving has turned into anything but... quite the contrary.
Of course you are.
it never was a sure win. only in dumbass aggie minds like yours, it was.
Seeing A&M and t.u. play earlier in the season, and the game being at Kyle Field, I cannot help but think A&M would have slaughtered texas.
Now, so much has changed and most of it unpredictably so. My intelligence is of no consequence.
We're playing walk ons and converted WR's at DB for 's sake. Our 2 best D-lineman are JUCO's, and every d-lineman in the current class is a HS recruit. A safety playing linebacker.....it's worse than I thought and it'll be another year or 2 before they can play consistent on D.
Offensively, I think they're fine.
