Well they attack the spurs more cause simply there are more spurs fans on this board than any other team. Trolling the spurs equal more replies..that's what trolls want que no? Spurs fans are guilty about bashing kobe so it goes both ways. But i'm gonna go out on a limb and say the kobe bashing comes just cause of the tim bashing. For some reason I see lakernation picking the fight

It's only buffoonery and mockery to those who beleive it's not true. There is nothing I've said about Timmy that is considered trolling...let's examine these are facts...

• The Spurs tanked to get him
• He won a le in an asterisk year
• Kobe became legendary in his own right due to owning the Spurs and particularly Duncan head to head
• He chose Merlin as his nick name
• He's the first player to sport a tongue ring
• He lived with a male personal assistant for 10 yrs even after his wife moved in
• He never successfully defended any of his les
• He's 33 & 22 all-time in points and rebounding as a big man
• He's currently averaging 12 & 7 ;-)
• He was swept by the Suns in 2010 - the Skunker
• He followed that up by losing to an 8th seed who tanked just to play him - hence the Skunker 8
• His knees are bad
• He Likes Dungeon's and Dragons - the real Nurotu lover
• He never spoke up not once during this CBA process
• Spur fan thinks he doesn't deserve his last 20 million that he earned over the course of his career
• He's trails Kobe 5>4 in the le count
• He's done playing for les

To the OP, I too feel the Tim bashing is spawned from the Kobe bashing. Both sides fuel the other and are relentless. If I could give a comparison from politics to show how one person handled his critics, I'll use George W. Bush. Clearly, he had more public detractors than both Tim and Kobe combined, but I liked the way Rush Limbaugh said the former president handled all the negativity that flew everywhere about him:

He just ignored it.

Kobe has a sticky for a reason, yet no one has posted in it in months. Instead, there have been countless pro and con Kobe threads, and even threads on other topics get hijacked and become about Kobe. Or even Tim.

My advice? If you don't like the non-stop bashing threads, don't post in them. Consider sending PM's to people on your side to stop feeding the trolls.
