I wouldn't say Eli is in the same class as Brady, but he did bend Brady over and take advantage of him in 07 SB.

Remember when D4P mocked me for suggesting Rivers was a top 3 QB?

Eli's been beasting this year no doubt, and he's been without most of his weapons too. In the seattle loss he had 2 td's bounce off his receivers hands and get picked off--one brought back for a pick-6. I like Eli, but he still has stupid face and it's only a matter of time before his next 4-pick game

Eli has not only surpasses brady, but every other qb in the nfl. Rodgers is padding his stats but lets see him win a close game where he needs a game winning drive. Eli is clutch and this breakout year has put him over every qb.

I don't really watch the Patriots but it seems like Brady gets way too much credit. Every single time I've seen him play he gets FOREVER to throw behind that line, it's like he faces almost no pressure at all and when he finally does get pressured he doesn't look like an MVP at all. He rarely has to make a difficult throws too, his receivers do most of the work. Most of his throws are to WIDE open receivers, just really short throws that they even used to do with Moss a lot. It seems to me that they just execute everything perfectly, they're the best coached team in the NFL.

When you watch someone like Rodgers or Peyton, they make extremely difficult throws, squeezing it in between the defense to where only their receiver can catch it.

For as schizo as Eli plays, he'll always have 2007...probably the best playoff run ever. They beat teams with a combined record of 55-11 in the playoffs, including wins at the 13-3 Cowboys (who had swept NYG that year), at Lambeau in the NFCCG, and against the 18-0 Patriots.

Anything he does from here on out is gravy.

So you got him playing like the entire 2nd half of the season..

    Doubtful..
