There's no way Leach goes to Tulane until he knows for sure he's not getting the UCLA or Arizona job.
from what I've seen, a small part of it is because he went to Ole Piss. But the big reason is because of things that went down in the 2006 season. Nutt recruited local golden boy Mitch Mustain as QB and hired Gus Malzahn as the OC. Arkansas was something like 7-1 when Nutt suddenly benched Mustain and put in Casey (lol Nutt and ). They end up losing 3 out of 4 or somesuch with , Mustain and Nutt get into a big public spat with Mustain's mommy making statements about Nutt to the press, some guy gets in trouble for stealing a bunch of Houston Nutt's emails and voice messages trying to prove that the Mustain benching was political and not on the field related, and so forth. After the season Mustain transfers to USC and all Arkansas fans think that the guaranteed National Championship that Mustain/McFadden/Jones/Hillis would have given them is now gone forever, and it's all Houston Nutt's fault.
So in the end really it's just Arkansas fans butthurt that Houston Nutt benched a local kid who couldn't do better than a 3rd stringer at USC. lol.
What they should be more pissed about is the fact that Houston Nutt never got along with Gus Malzahn as the OC. He left after the season too, and we all know what he has been doing since.
