There's just no stat for being bailed out by the ref; Fisher is one of the kings of the intangibles.

    Horry FTW

He is the real deal when it comes to clutchness

Fisher's .4 is overrated, because it should never counted (yeah I'm butthurt, go yourselves)
Also, in 2009, the ing re ed POS Jameer Nelson made him look "clutch"

    Horry is the real deal

He made big shots big shots for Houston, Los Angeles and San Antonio

He bailed out HOF big men, Dream, Shaq and Tim

It depends on the cir stances. Horry and Fisher have certainly had clutch moments but they have also been awful in the clutch at times as well. They were both streaky. Horry's horrific shooting destroyed the Lakers in the 2003 playoffs. I think he was 2-38 from 3 in the playoffs that year. Someone with no skills at all could get lucky and hit a better percentage than that just throwing the ball up towards the rim.

Who's the guy who you would pass the ball to for the last shot/possession?

If it's under 5 seconds on the clock, I would give it to Horry. Everything else, Fisher.
Horry if he's open over just about anyone else other than Michael or Manu.

If it's clogged, Michael or Manu.

I love Manu more than most (non Spur) fans, but LOL at puttinghim up next to MJ. Go upstairs after a close loss, only Manu fanbois would put his clutch play up with MJ. I love his heart but he has made plenty of errrant passes or bad shots in the clutch as well. even Mj missed/choked in the clutch at times, Manu is clutch but he is on a whole nother level than Manu. And you can make cases for plenty of other players BEFORE you get to Manu (and no I dont necessarily mean Kobe) ...

I didn't put his clutch play up with Michael. I chose Manu in clutch time in a clogged lane over Horry or Fish, and Michael over Manu. I wouldn't let Kobe even see the ball.

Manu is one of the most underrated players in the league, if not in the history of the league.

Last shot? Big Shot Rob, no doubt. Horry was mostly a bench player, while Fisher usually starts. I can think of one game Horry took over, game 5 of 2005 NBA finals. It wasn't just his last 3 pointer, it was the 4 or so he put in starting at the end of the third that won that game. Without his contributions, Spurs go back home down 3-2. Fisher has a similar game, 2010 finals, game 3. His 5 baskets in the 4th quarter won that game, no other Laker starter had any kind of a reasonable offensive shooting game. Kobe's only bucket in the 4th came with about a minute left and sealed the win, they were ahead and probably would have survived a miss. Also, don't forget Derek's six 3 pointers 2001 NBA finals game 5. Derek also tends to lead the league in charges drawn, flops or not. He killed many an easy bucket on the opponent's fast breaks.

For their credit, neither player shied away from the big moments and deferred to others when the going got tough. I can see both players becoming coaches in the future.
