There has never been anyone who can make me laugh and cringe at the same time like Perry can. Whenever he speaks in a debate and hits that lull with the blank stare I find myself encouraging him to just get through the question. He was doing so good just keeping his answers short and stopping with the Gomer Pyle expression. When he was trying to remember the third agency to complete his point I don't think there was anyone pulling for him more than me. He went off script and went for the homerun and ed up as only he can.
I think if Perry had skipped all of the debates he would have still been the frontrunner today...or at least in 2nd place. He had enough money and goodwill from his idiot supporters to pull him through regardless.
God damn this er just keeps embarrassing himself time and again.

The saddest thing is not that Rick Perry is still considered a major contender for the GOP nomination.
The saddest thing is that if Obama were to lose the Presidency next year, the Democrats would likely have a Perry-esque equivalent at their debates prior to the '16 election. Scary to think about.
It will be interesting to see if Romney sets his sights on Cain now that Perry has thoroughly destroyed the credibility that he never had in the first place.
Seems like if he can't remember, that he was just saying it to say something, and didn't really have any true feelings about it.

I loved how Ron Paul just stood there and just let Perry all over himself. Ron Paul had a look of "how were you ever a front runner" when he was facing Perry during the fail. Didn't Romney and Cain laugh during the Perry fail and didn't one of them say "oh my"?

same can be said of each of them who put themselves forward: Cain'tGet'ErDone, Bachmann, Willard, Grinchgrinch, pitbull , McLiar. I read that there is some idea of drafting .... Buchannan!
