To be fair, that seems to be a non-majority. From what I've seen, most of the PSU students are saddened/disheartened by this and think the board was right to fire Joe.

The Penn State sexual abuse scandal may have a local connection. Penn State's former defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandusky, is accused of having inappropriate contact with young boys. Some of the alleged victims were as young as 8 and 10 years old.
Now, the San Antonio Police Department is looking to see if they have a case in San Antonio.
"We are investigating the possibility that an offense may have happened while here in San Antonio," SAPD's Sgt. Chris Benavides said.
The Bexar County District Attorney's Office and SAPD are looking into an alleged incident back in 1999 that reportedly happened in San Antonio.
The San Antonio connection involves the 1999 Alamo Bowl when Penn State went up against Texas A&M.
The grand jury indictment, alleges Sandusky brought a young boy to San Antonio to attend the Alamo Bowl. He is identified as "Victim 4."
Sandusky reportedly threatened to send the victim home if he didn't cooperate with the illegal activity.
Sandusky is also accused of giving Victim 4 gifts, clothing, and passes to various sporting events.
Sandusky allegedly guaranteed Victim 4 he could be a walk-on player at Penn State.
If Victim 4 is alleging he was assaulted here in San Antonio, local police want to know if they can bring up charges here.

After a day of hearing how re ed they are defending Paterno it's no surprise.
Well you see, Joe Paterno is to the Penn State community as God is to the Christian community. That's just fact. People who know nothing about football or any sport blindly support him because of his history and for being the icon he is. It's the same thing. When you're that fanatical about someone or something, you will not consistently think rationally.
The students' reaction to all of this seems very strange to me. If I were a student there I'd be glad Paterno was let go, if for no other reason then it at least begins the process of moving on from all of this.
Apparently Sandusky was downtown recently instead of laying low. I heard he was spotted at a local gym and 's Sporting Goods.
I also heard today that Sandusky intends on pleading not guilty. He may try to sell that since the kids from his organization were underprivileged + low income and have money incentives for being victims. Truly shocking. Why the would they wait so long then?
Further illustrates just how ing crazy this guy is. He is psychotic.
Everybody makes mistakes. Paterno made one here. But, he's also led an exemplary life otherwise, leading mul udes of young men into productive lives.
If Eric Holder can slaughter American babies at Ruby Ridge & Waco and still remain in office 20 years later Paterno can find grace as well.
