SO........does the previous post mean there will only be one fight on the tube, the main card?

Everything else will be on myface or fox.com?

  2. #52
I don't know what the UFC's expectations are for this ratings wise. From what i can tell Fox has just done an average job promoting this and neither JDS or Cain are big draws. Ratings might be somewhat dissapointing... It's huge this be a great compe ive fight..

    MAIN CARD (FOX)

Champ Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos (for heavyweight le)

The long layoff has me going with JDS here. I also think that JDS is every bit as talented as Cain and is yet to show us all his skills. His wrestling looked great against Shane and his striking is better. I think his game-plan will be brawl and sprawl pressure on Cain and try to get him out of there in the first 2 rds. Cain never ever tires and if this gets past round 2 i bet Cain wins the fight with his wrestling especially in the 4th and 5th. But i'll take JDS TKO Rd 2..

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook and FOX.com)

    Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson

Ben is on the fast track to the LW le. Edgar is next.

    Pablo Garza vs. Dustin Poirier
    - Go Scarecrow

Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto vs. Darren Uyenoyama

Matt Lucas vs. Aaron Rosa- Going with the kid from SA; put up a good fight against Joey Beltran in his UFC debut.

I like your fight picks, lol

I was also wondering the same thing, "what if the first card doesn't do well ratings wise"... and hopefully the fight has a mix of standup, TDs, ground game, etc

IMO Cain can dominate in this fight. He does not hesitate and JDS sometimes does. Well it can come down to one big punch landed by Junior because Cain likes to be in a pocket. Kongo fight.
All in all it's gonna be a fantastic fight

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook and FOX.com)

    Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson
Hopefully Benson can put that monkey away

    Pablo Garza vs. Dustin Poirier
Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto vs. Darren Uyenoyama
    Ricardo Lamas vs. Cub Swanson

I think some of you have forgotten how amazing Cain is. He's going to put JDS to sleep.

His diet is actually complete .. On the primetime show for his fight with Brock he was slamming down fatty mexican food right after a hard training session. Probably gonna have to clean that up as he gets older..

Mexicans love to eat. I'm sure he works out twice as hard in the gym to compensate for what he eats. Probably why his cardio is so good.

Wish San Antonio could get a UFC ppv with Cain as main event.
