Yup you can do a lot of good by making sure you only shoot at "bad" al Qaeda while simultaneously helping "good" al Qaeda take over Libya
Bottom line, if you served during these wars and killed anyone you're a contract killer, a paid hitman.
Pretty sure you're an idiot, tbh brah.
There may not be a "war" going on, but there is definitely fighting going on. I'm appalled as you are at the innocents killed in drone strikes, the treatment of detainees, and various other factors. But getting out of the miilitary won't change that; in fact, I can probably do more good in the military than I could by getting out.
I doubt you'll grasp any nuances though.

attributive clause tbh. your below average even by s standard tbh, don't you feel ashamed talking like this in your real life or do you just act dumb all day? serious question tbh
s don't care about comprehension, n1ggas don't give a to grammars, while DM doesn't care about neither
guerrillas hide among common residents and the soldiers can hardly tell them apart tbh, them guerrillas ain't no soldiers at all they are indeed terrorists. its in violation of the genoa convention to kill innocent civilians but thats definitely not the case when you have no business of telling them apart, they violate the law first not we
Most that I know who join the military do it for love of Country and because they want to serve. Those who diss the military couldn't survive bootcamp and are probably flag burning losers and well, they are.
Except nobody here is dissing the concept of "military," we are dissing this idea of signing up to join a billionaire's war, being a paid mercenary just to make a buck because you weren't smart enough to do anything else. These wars are only about serving a few elite's interests, gaining control over an entire region and it's emerging economy. I kid you not, I have met several people at school who are back on the GI bill and oppose the out of these wars.
I don't see this thread on a daily basis.
And for preventing all the other attacks that never happened because of the people that joined the military.
all those other attacks
the Muslim bogey man would kill us all if not for the military

What about if you're getting shot at and you shoot back? Still a hitman?
the people shooting at you just want you to leave the country you've been terrorizing in thename of democracy
![]()
Sure you are. You're saying that everyone in the military is an idiot.
Obviously, we need SOME sort of military. Would you agree to that YH? If so, then you should see the obvious logical inconsistency.
There's a lot of people IN the military who oppose the out of the war.
Probably. But that has nothing to do with my answer. And I don't get why you're trying to post trollish![]()
replies; it doesn't do a whole lot for your argument.
And make no mistake about it, what we've been doing to Iraqis is NO DIFFERENT than what the Germans did to the Jews
Really? You might want to rethink that. Some of the stuff we're doing is complete BS, I agree. But we're not lining kids up and taking them to gas chambers. There's a reason why Nazis are the easiest "go-to villain" for any story. They were historically unique.
Of course, if you wanted you COULD make that argument DoK, using rational reasoning and logical consistencies. Or you could just say
Americans can't be like Nazis!![]()
We're Americans! We love liberty!

Your call what message you want to send.
Instead we're just lining them up and blowing their heads off right there
Give it time. 30 years from now the history books every country besides the US uses will consider the War in Iraq genocide conducted by the US military.
lol being part of a group that commits genocide
Actually, not quite right. If you had said, "Instead we're just firing drone missiles into scores of people and claiming we've killed "terrorists", your argument would've been much stronger.
I really don't care what message to send. People in this country will slob on the military's knob for committing genocide regardless. Once I'm done with school I can move to Canada and watch this country rot from next door and laugh at all the people like you who insist the military does great things.
I see you tried to have your cake and eat it too, eh DoK?And no, 30 years from now it won't be considered a genocide, because it isn't. Will it be looked at as a foolish incursion, spending valuable blood, time and money when the US could've used it here? Yup. Will it be looked at as a horrible time in Iraqi history? Yup. Etc etc.
But genocide is wholesale slaughtering of people. The closest argument you have to us committing genocide would be through drone strikes. Sure, there's the occasional group of military folk who go crazy and do some vile , like Abu Ghraib or the recent "kill squad". And it gives a black eye to the military to the rest of the world. Did you know that in a poll conducted a year or so ago, the military was rated as the ins ution in which America has the most confidence in?

We send soldiers into hostile areas with uniform on, gun in plain sight. When deployed to those areas, they usually work every day, for about 12 hours. They never know when they might start suddenly getting fired on. So you combine all these stress factors, and I think it's only due to a (mostly) good support structure that you don't see this happen far more often.
That's why it's not "just a job" to most. Not many would care if some guy who works for Pepsi stocking cans goes crazy and shoots three people. But put him in a uniform and it's a huge incident. There's a reason for the disparity.
You should picket a few funerals. The Hillsboro Baptist Church would love to have you.
You've already admitted the necessity of a military, right? So what do you think we should do DoK? All quit en masse, then start our own Occupy the Pentagon?
For someone who doesn't care about what message he sends, you're taking an awful lot of time posting messages on here.
Tell Alec Baldwin I said o.
Wait, he didn't leave either after he said he would...
We killed over 1,000,000 innocent Iraqis. That's genocide.
For someone who doesn't support the Iraq War, this is a really cool essay defending it![]()
