Kill yourself and take the rest of the Rocket fans with you.
You mean you're not gonna pull the 4 rings got card?![]()
+1, Houston Rocket fans have no business rooting for the Houston Texans
More geared to the ones on this site. I know some pretty cool Rocket fans tbh.
This injury is a blow to the Texans run for a Super Bowl which was a serious possibility. This injury reminds me to what happened to the Saints in 2000 when QB Jeff Blake broke his foot. The Saints were also 7-3 at the time, 1st in their division, had a strong running game behind Ricky Williams, the best OL in the league anchored by Willie Roaf and Kyle Turley, and one of the top defenses in the league anchored by the best D-line. They also got timely big play passing from Jeff Blake to Joe Horn.
Besides losing Blake, they also lost Ricky Williams in week 11 to a broken foot. Aaron Brooks did a solid job going 3-3 including a crucial road win at the Rams to help win the division and a great performance by him in the playoffs at home against the Rams helped the Saints get their first playoff win ever. Still, the Saints lost in the 2nd round at the Vikings.
I really believe if Blake and Williams could have stayed healthy, the Saints could have gotten a 1st round bye and possibly homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Injuries derailed that.
My fear is that injuries will limit the Texans success in the playoffs.
You Texans fans are ing pathetic. I now know why I stopped posting here as much.
It's not like Schaub was tearing up the league. He was managing games and doing enough to not lose. He is a quality QB but Leinart has the same skill set as Schaub. He has been in the system for a while now and should be able to limit his mistakes. He doesn't need to win the games just not lose them. He is a talented QB. He was just a dumb, en led piece of when he came in the league. He's been knocked down a few pegs after getting cut by the Cards. I'm sure he has matured enough to be able to focus on the game and play like he is capable of playing. I'm not saying he is going to be be great but he will do just enough that it won't be a season killing injury.
My view is more from what Hornets78 said...they go from possibly getting a bye and perhaps the AFC championship game to a first round curb stomping. Leinart can do enough with the defense playing well to get them to the playoffs with the soft schedule ahead, but you are ing smoking if you think Capt. Checkdown has the same skill set as Schaub. Make no mistake...teams will load the box and make Leinart beat them with his arm. I just don't see him making any team pay for it.
Leinart making the throws Schaub does. C'mon Steven, you are better than that.
Your wins have been based on your D and run game, tbh.
Indeed...and that will be just enough to get the Texans to their first ever playoff loss.
Maybe I should just shut the up and be happy with that.
Looks like Schaub had to get doooooooooooooooooooooooooooown when he saw Stoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooops
When did Scaub turn into a guy that makes throws? He stands behind a very good line and always has a dude wide open when he makes his throws. He's not great at making precision throws. He doesn't have a strong arm. I can easily see Leinart making enough throws to get by. Sure there will be production lost but not enough to doom the team. The will get in the playoffs and when they do they have just as good a chance as any of the other teams. This team goes as far as the d takes them. With or without Schaub.
Let's just chill the out and see how Leinart plays. You never know what could happen.
Schaub can be a little streaky at times but lets not get it twisted...there have been many times he has single handedly kept the Texans in games with his arm. He makes great reads, sells great fakes on the bootlegs and he gets the ball out fast when he has to. Don't let the fact that he does not have to do as much because the running game and defense are beasting let you forget how good of a QB he really is...because from that last statement you obviously have.
This team needs the whole team. The defense has played the biggest role but all roles still need to be played. NO ONE is afraid of Leinart...the guy who lost he job to the 2010 version of Dr
k Anders
n. They will stack the line of scrimmage and beg him to throw the ball vertically. As of right now there is zero proof that he can do it and make the defenses pay.
We'll see. We're a little less than 2 weeks away from the proving grounds.
Go ahead and jump off bro, it's cool. Go to the Cowboys bandwagon that you were probably riding in the 90s.
tbqh you should be far more worried about Wade moments when he feels he needs to be conservative on D.
rofl just when Texans fans thought they were Superbowl bound after their daddy was out for the year.
I see what ya did there
Andre coming back helps Leinart more than you think.
I hope so, but then again Larry Fitz had a terrible year last year without his QB.
