Woody Allen did something similar and they gave him an Oscar and a case of Manoshevitz.
The latest is that Sandusky's lawyer has his own skeletons, so to speak...
Guy was the attorney for a 15/16 year old seeking emancipation from her parents, won it for her, then married her by 17. Supposedly nothing of major illegality occurred, as 16 is a legal age in Pennsylvania, but still doesn't paint the defense in a positive light.
Bottom right is the 16 year old girl the lawyer nailed, Top left is the VP at Pedo State under indictment. Not sure the age of her in this image, but that's her next to Sandusky's lawer.

What's now being reported about the lawyer...
From Yahoo.com: His attorney, Joe Amendola, would later suggest some of the other victims in the grand jury’s “finding of fact” would recant their claims. Who is Joe Amendola? According to Pennsylvania court do ents obtained by The Daily, in 1996, at the age of 49, he impregnated a 17-year-old girl. The two later married and divorced.
Maybe that tight-knit inner circle, but he's consistently near the top of viewers rankings of the creepiest celebrities. My point was more about public perception than indiscretion. Did the attorney really think this wouldn't be brought to light? He emancipated a 16 year old girl and within a year knocked her up, then married her to cover it up.
Not sure he's the right guy for the defense.
A course. A dollar & a dime could still be made from a live Allen, even a dead Michael Jackson. Once an 84 year old Paterno notched 409 there was no need to carry his water a minute longer. He was a dead stick. Media could then beat all manner out of him, bleed him out and syphon off what remained.
Except for the knocked up part, I did Katie-girl likewise at 15.
tee, hee.
because Media! made so much money off of Paterno pre-409
Genius!
Better believe it, daddy-O.
I sure don't, weirdo
I notice that pretty much every article on the internet about this has a pic of Paterno next to the Sandusky articles.
"Alleged child abuser Sandusky..." with a pic of Paterno right next to it. I bet half the country thinks Paterno is the weirdo.
Paterno "sold" his home to his wife for $1 six months back according to the NYTimes. I'd be curious to see what the laws on joint accounts for his savings is, or if this coincidental oddity could be more of an asset transfer to protect property in the event of a lawsuit?
Good for Paterno.
That's the half that Media leads around by the nose & short hairs.
^I don't differentiate...
Media.
which I find hilariously stupid.
Media!
Conspiracies are easier to believe if you don't try to explain them.
Penn State best start being honest, because now, along with a -ton of cash going to victims, sactions, penalties, reductions, removals, and even the dreaded Death Penalty are in play against them, their future, and their legacy. This is far worse in deed than the Ohio State or USC or Miami crap. If they aren't forthcoming, their screwed.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State has learned via letter from NCAA President Mark Emmert that the governing body of collegiate sports will launch an investigation of the University's athletic programs in the wake of allegations of sexual abuse by a former assistant coach and charges of perjury against to two senior University officials.
"I am writing to notify you that the NCAA will examine Penn State's exercise of ins utional control over its intercollegiate athletics programs, as well as the actions, and inactions, of relevant responsible personnel," Emmert wrote. "We recognize that there are ongoing federal and state investigations and the NCAA does not intend to interfere with those probes."
Emmert set out several questions that University officials must be prepared to answer as part of the probe. Responses to this NCAA inquiry are expected by Dec. 16 in order for the NCAA to determine next steps.
To view the letter and the specific areas that will be covered in this inquiry, go to http://www.psu.edu/ur/2011/NCAA.pdf online.
This is the part where everybody gets to act high & mighty and take a piece of everyone's ass at PSU. The ones who remain will be sent to re-education camps to get their minds right. Afterward they'll say something to the effect that "I'm a better person because of this scandal. Penn State University is a better place. It's almost a good thing that it happened, I just feel sorry for the children."
Then minorities will come in low out of the rising sun, play the race card and be grandfathered in on a decent % of the jobs formerly held by the whites.
& Media will be watching the henhouse the entire time to make damn sure nobody tries to sneak off scot-free.
I wonder if Media is gonna give Boeheim a pass since he's of the Jewish faith.
if Boeheim somehow gets charged with something, how do you figure Media will give him a pass?
