Other than one major difference, I learned today that Mormons are skaters, painters, musicians and state governors just like you and me.

I agree as the story is perceived. However, believe it or not, there is evidence that supports the Mormon's contention.

Maybe you should study their literature a bit.

My God. I haven't ventured into this line of study since about 1985. There is sound evidence that South American hieroglyphics mirror some of ancient Egypt for one. I may be wrong on that specific detail even, but somehow, the America's have similarities to other ancient cultures. There is a story in one of the Mormon books about an ark, carrying people to the Americas.

I really don't recall enough detail.
