It's still early. DCs aren't stupid ers and will adjust to it as they see more film.

It won't last long if he doesn't improve drastically throwing the ball.

Tim Tebow makes me want to be a better Christian.
So you can start for an NFL team despite limited decision-making capabilities and physical attributes?

Vince Young is a mentally weak pussy that tried to kill himself..let's not infect this Tebow thread..

The Broncos playcalling is actually terrible..Tebow is a severely flawed passer, but he looks even worse due to the playcalling and lack of weapons around him..the change in scheme was good, but the plays are still up and down..the 1st drive of the game was great playcalling, they need to stick with it..

Tebow has actually shown he can pass..the problem is that he can't do it on a consistent basis..it's difficult to pass, using your own strengths, when the OC doesn't know how to run a bootleg or play-action, or anything creative..Tebow obviously still needs a lot of work though, especially with throwing balls in the dirt..

The reason the Broncos are winning is because of the defense..Von Miller is a beast, Dumervil is regaining form, Bunkley has been one of the best off-season additions( Eagles), and Bailey is playing like he's in his prime..the Broncos are a safety and corner away from having a dominant defense..

Also, they have the best punter in the NFL, so that always helps..

Tebow is making clutch time plays, that's all he needs to do, for the time being..the defense will continue to dominate, until they face dominant teams(thankfully, the AFC is weak right now)..

VY was also a better passer than Tebow but ok I'll leave it at that 'cause I'm good with you and Tebow.

The problem with the Jets is Mark Sanchez. For a guy who was a top 5 pick, he's a below average QB who happens to make mistakes. Tebow is a below average passer, but he's not turning the ball over.
Yep they will never win a le with this SANCHEZ! Maybe if he improved alot, but he so far is very dissapointing in this league! VERY much so.

Consider this: If you combined the passing stats of Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow into one NFL QB (who we'll call Mim Sanchbow), you'd have the second-most pass attempts in the NFL (403, trailing only Drew Brees' 422), but you'd be tied for the fourth-most completions (216), making Mim Sanchbow's completion percentage (52.5%) worse than every qualifying QB save for Blaine Gabbert. Mim's 21 TDs would be fourth in the league, while his 10 interceptions would be tied for seventh-most. In fact, the only category where Mim would lead the league would be in number of times sacked (36).

That's 13 started games' worth of stats from two NFL QBs, and they would not lead the league in anything that mattered. Yikes.

If Fisher had given Young the chance
Wow, scapegoating Jeff Fisher for VY being a horrible QB, I've never seen that one before, what an original argument!

lol using Jeff Fisher as the excuse for Vince Young when Tim Tebow's coach is even worse than Fisher when it comes to hating flashy QBs

I'm sure Jeff Fisher is why Vince Young is a 3rd string QB behind that Kafka got

If Fisher had given Young the chance of running this triple option play and made all the changes the Broncos' coaches made to take advantage of Tebow's skillset he would still have a job.
I thought all VY did was just win

Actually VY and Tebow's success boils down to a few things. Both guys didn't turn the ball over, but also VY had a strong running game, strong defense, and a kicker who made everything. Wasn't like VY won a lot of shootouts. Same case with Tebow. Running the ball well, he's not making turnovers, defense is playing really well, and they have a good kicker.

Tebow can play football. He can't pass for , but the dude is just a pure football player. How that will work for him being a QB for a long career? Odd's aren't good, but as much as he got on my nerves when he was in college (mainly due to the knobslobbing by the media), he definitely has won me over as a fan. Hard worker, hates losing, plays his ass off every play. As much as I like VY, if he had half the mentality Tebow has, he would be a top QB in the NFL. It just pisses me off so much more about VY for how naturally gifted and talented he is, to piss it away being stupid, while Tebow is not very talented, but finds a way to maximize what talents he has.

That is true, but eventually, the QB will have to win by big passing games. Look at the Jets. They were winning with a strong defense, running etc while Sanchez just managed the games. Now with team around him struggling, Sanchez needs to step his game up and become a big time passer, especially being a top 5 pick in the draft.

VY didn't turn the ball over via interceptions but he's an extremely fumble prone QB. he turned the ball over a lot more than Tebow does.

it's just so sad, if he could throw even remotely, REMOTELY accurately, he might actually make it as an NFL QB, and Denver would be a really dangerous team too.

I'm surprised how much better the rest of the team seems to be playing with him under center vs. Orton, I didn't think that rah! rah! charisma/leadership stuff would have any effect in the pros

To do it once is something. But for god to give up his only son to mankind twice. That's special.
