I think if LSU beats Arkansas, they should be in the le game even if they lose at Georgia. Wins over Oregon, Alabama, and Arkansas would be too much to overcome.
Top 5 now should be
1. LSU
2. Bama
3. Oregon
4. Oklahoma
5. Arkansas

I'ts going to be LSU/Alabama if they both win out or Arkansas/LSU if Arkansas beats LSU and Georgia
What happens if Arky beats LSU and then loses to Georgia? lol Oregon/LSU?
I agree. Arkansas has a better resume overall.
I think if Arkansas loses to Georgia, they're done. Two losses will knock them out.
Oregon needs to blow out USC. Alabama killing Georgia Southern won't do anything for them.
Lets say Arky wins out. That puts them in the MNC vs who? Oregon or LSU?
assuming Oregon wins out of course.
Auburn squeaked by numerous teams last year and won the NC. Heres the facts: Arkansas lost on the road to the Number 2 team in the country on their first SEC game. We now have the longest win streak of any top team. Oklahoma lost at home to a team that got clown out by 60 points. Thats awful.
Here's what you guys don't get. If Arkansas wins out say that puts us at Number 1, if Alabama is ahead of lsu and is ranked within 5 spots of Arkansas then Bama goes to the sec championship game because they beat us head to head.
So if you beat LSU and Alabama beats Auburn then they will go to the SECCG?
All 3 teams should still be in the top 5
Arkansas doesn't have the longest win streak of the top teams. LSU does and Oregon would be second.
I was thinking if we beat lsu, I got ahead of myself. You're right about Oregon though.
lol at this sissy cuck showing up out of nowhere
BS if Oregon gets into the le game. Basically that means LSU has to beat Oregon twice on a neutral field to win the NC, while Oregon only has to beat LSU once. How is that fair to LSU?
Same thing applies for Bama. LSU won at their place so why should they play them again on a neutral field?
LSU will have no problem beating Oregon again. The real reason why Oregon in the NC game would suck is because they'll get steam rolled by whatever SEC team they play and it won't be entertaining at all.
Unless George Jefferson starts at QB.
They won't make the NC game with Jordan Jefferson starting
Alabama making the NC game against LSU when they didn't even play in their conference's le game would be re ed though.
Isn't there a rule in the BCS banning teams that didn't win their conference from the le game? I thought they put that in after Nebraska made the le game in 2001 despite not winning the Big 12 North.
I just want to see LSU play someone that hasn't lost to them yet. Even Oklahoma, although we pretty much know what the result of that game would be.
This. If Alabama or Oregon end going to the le game than they suffer no consequence from losing to LSU earlier in the season.
I would understand it if there were no other worthy opponents for LSU, ala Boise, but I think OU has a good of shot at beating LSU as either of the two other teams
sons my biggest concern is LSU even making it to the le game now that Miles has decided to give Jefferson the majority of the snaps. Hopefully I am wrong and Miles will change his mind and do what is best for the team, but it doesn't look good. LSU should be able to win out, but if Jefferson is getting the majority of the snaps then they WILL LOSE to either Arkansas or Georgia or to both.
Lot of games left to be played with the Conf Championships.
If LSU wins out that would include their conf champ game.
Meanwhile Bama would not be in a conf champ game hence their only remaining game is vs Auburn next week? BR is that correct?
Ditto Oregon since the Pac 12 has no conf champ game.
It's another reason a Bama or Oregon win over LSU should really be only a 1-1 tie and not grounds for a Championship.
BCS is a suck ass arrangement.
Get a playoff!
