No doubt I'd rather have a breast than a wing but to say that they weren't even put on the table but instead ground up for animals is total bull .

I will stipulate that they are the least desirable piece of chicken that is normally served (assuming livers and gizzards aren't "normally served"). And yes, if they did come in a bucket of KFC (which they don't), I would be pretty upset if that's what you left me with.
