The Ox-Bow Incident.
Hank Fonda, Henry Morgan (Col Potter on M.A.S.H.).
Pretty good. Good lesson on the folly of mob mentality when rushing to judgement without all the facts.
I wondered the same thing. At the time of filming Ox-Bow, he went by Henry.
Morgan made his screen debut (originally using the name "Henry Morgan") in the 1942 movie To the Shores of Tripoli. His screen name later would become "Henry 'Harry' Morgan" and eventually Harry Morgan, to avoid confusion with the then-popular humorist of the same name.
hmmm, I didn't know that. So this hasn't been a wasted day on ST after all
I thought you were thinking of henry fonda, and accidentally put henry morgan...
Last movie I caught was An Act of Violence (1947)
after I was about 10 or 15 minutes into it, I realized I had seen it a couple of years ago. But I watched it anyway.
Van Heflin plays an ex-soldier from WW2, with a dark secret. A young and scrumptious Janet Leigh plays his wife, who thinks the world revolves around him - little does she know! Robert Ryan is the ex-soldier from the same outfit, who knows the truth about Van Heflin...
pretty good flick - it was right around 1.5 hours... any longer, would have been too long.

Super 8
8/10
should have been 9/10, but what the kid said near the end when in its grasp was totally wrong and stupid, completely ruined the scene.
also, "I got you" was completely wrong, should have been something like "you are amazing".
and they should have added a one second scene showing that the guy had equipped his truck with something that would actually derail a train, that bothered me throughout the movie
Bridesmaids- wow I was hoping to piss my pants with this one after hearing from some of my friends how funny it was. Boy was I disappointed. Lots of it seemed like a painfully long improvised take. I can' even rate it. 2 out of 5, maybe.
Captain America - 6/10.
Deep Inside Sasha's Hole
Almost made it through ten minutes. It worked.
The Town... 10/10.. Amazing movie! Ben Affleck should just stick to directing!
boring and pointless
agreed about the truck
3/10
Muppets 2/10
s the 98% of critics that got sentimental/nostalgic and gave it a thumbs up.
The Town was good, but Gone Baby Gone is his best work IMO
Gone Baby Gone 9/10
The Town 8/10
The Game - ft. Michael Douglas (Netflix). Movie is pretty good. Its Rated-R, and rightly so, so viewer discretion is definitely advisted.
Super 8
It was good. I'll give it 7.5.
Oh yeah! Thats right! I love that movie too! The Town had a lot more action but Gone Baby Gone had an amazing screen play and acting in it... It shouldve gotten more praise than it did.
50/50
9.5 out of 10.

That's probably why they gave it a thumbs up.
fast & furius 5.........................9/10...................its excellent movie.............
Country Song -![]()
