Waterloo, Canada doing it's thing.
Looks sweet. Got the eye candy and everything. I'd love to see a review and hope they have a decent SDK out there being it's a new OS. Their phone SDKs are terrible.
What I've seen from the Galaxy is meh. I'm still not sold on Android, and to top it off the thing is SLOW...
Ugh... the SDK for the tablet:
Web Applications with HTML5 — Developers will be able to create compelling applications using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript®, which leverage the WebKit rendering engine.
Web Applications with Flash — Leveraging Adobe’s tools, developers will be able to create visually rich applications using Flash 10.1.
That ing blows.... When is RIM going to learn people write their in C, C++ or Java?
Just pathetic...
RIM hasn't announced the price of the Playbook.
BlackBerry PlayBook Price: Probably The Same As (Or Less Than) The iPad
Dan Frommer
RIM announced its BlackBerry PlayBook tablet yesterday, but didn't say anything about how much it would cost.
This will obviously play a big role in peoples' purchasing decision, so it's important that RIM set the price right.
Our guess is that it will cost around the same as -- or maybe a little less than -- Apple's iPad, which begins at $500. So something starting in the $400 to $500 range would not surprise us. And if carriers subsidize it with a 2-year 3G contract, it might be closer to $200 or $300.
It's actually pretty smart for RIM not to announce the price now, given that it could be 4-6 months before it ships. In that time, Apple may announce a new iPad, and Android-based tablets should begin shipping.
It makes sense for RIM to see what the market will look like in early 2011 before it announces PlayBook pricing.

lol @ me
lol playbook
lol 50% off
lol venti quattro
lol "playbook > iPad"
lol i have an iPad
7 inch tablet for 700 dollars = LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Tablet sales are all about the price point unless you're Apple. That is why Amazon will dominate if they come in at 250 even with a 6 gb tablet.
Loooooooooooooooool
That's horse !
Nook color anyone?
2, 64GB wi-fi & 3G.
By the way,
Has anyone gotten the BB Playbook ?
199$ for the 16 gig
299$ for the 32 gig
399$ for the 64 gig
Bad overpriced tablet is still a bad overpriced tablet.
It has sold pretty well since the price drop
People are pretty stupid then.
Tablets are a fad anyway
Employees of RIM are getting even cheaper prices
$99 for 16GB
$149 for 32GB + HDMI cable
$199 for 64GB + HDMI cable
TD Bank was having a promo for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for only $199 for TD credit card holders. I would've gotten someone's card but they only had 50 in stock and I think over 8000 people applied for it![]()
gonna wait till its 99. i hope it does that despite selling out at 199. would be great for my dad. for surfing the internet and thats it.
