    Barney Franks has decided not to run for re-election - happy days!!! Another liberal s will be gone from Congress. He should be in jail for his part in the financial meltdown - but at least he won't be able to do any more damage.

    I'm glad... hopefully the Dem that replaces him won't be as bad... now if guys like Cantor, Boehner and Pelosi would follow in his footsteps, that'd be progress...

    I kinda agree with the bolded text. I dont know if he should have been thrown in jail tho. Barney got to powerful and incompetent and he needed to go.
