did you check what extensions you have installed? go to options/extensions
also could be your virus scanner
Every now and then, Chrome resets my main search engine to Yahoo, when I always set it to Google.
Why does it keep resetting back to Yahoo to use for searching?
I just go into options and change it back to google, but it will still switch it back to yahoo a couple days later.

Why would google dump the worlds second most used web browser?
I deleted all the other search engine choices so it has to use Google no matter what. I still don't know what was causing it to switch to Yahoo though.
