Guess Luol Deng comes as a free extra right after we sign Dwight.

Guess Luol Deng comes as a free extra right after we sign Dwight.
guys i am serious. if we sign dwight howard, i am sure he will take the 6. man of the year award.
Why don't we sign Kevin Durant instead of Luol Deng?
Dude, signing Dwight Howard makes so much sense. Someone needs to get the Spurs front office to work on this. I've heard that Howard wants to play in a big market like San Antonio.
Annnd now you're just officially trolling.
Which is only slightly worse then being completely uninformed.
turkish spurs fan, u dont happen to also be a beskista fan also? lmao retiring a wankers jersey for only playin 15 games
hahaha, the most stupid desicion ever. i am GALATASARAY fan.

Sounds like it would make us better, so, sure. Do it. Do it.
I've got an inside scoop for a very reliable person working for Spurs PR that Spurs are indeed in a great position to get Dwight Howard. Dwight wants to cone to SA and be Duncan's successor. Spurs offer is around Splitter and RJ. I'll keep you guys updated with the latest on that.
Chow, Jonathan.
We all know how this is gonna end up ...

so true.
we can call everyone naive, who claims that there will be another outcome.
btw. did people realize, what options the new 150% rule will open for the Lakers?
they can now trade Bynum+Odom (+a minor filler like Ebanks) for Superman + Arenas!
that way this trade option becomes even more intriguing for the Magic. they get rid of Arenas, then cut Hedo via AC and immediately they have repaired their payroll. (didn't calculate what they save in salary and tax. over 3 years. must be about 10 billion $)
as we know, even with the new tax rules in place, the Lakers can pay whatever tax number thanks to their TV contract. and we know that some ring hungry vets will jump on this train (even pick this option over Miami) for the minimum.
send the 2012 and 2013 rings to LA.
Not quite. The 150% rule is only for teams under the tax; teams over it are still at 125%. Now the Lakers could still find add-ins to make your deal work (Walton, Blake, etc.), but it's not as easy as you make it out to be.
Guess mountainballer just mixed it up.
"• 2011 CBA: Taxpaying teams can acquire no more than 125 percent plus $100,000 of the salaries they trade away (same as 2005 CBA). Non-taxpaying teams (based on their post-trade salary level) can acquire up to the lesser of 150 percent plus $100,000, or 100 percent plus $5 million of the salaries they trade away. The cash a team pays or receives in trade is limited to $3 million annually."

BTW: Bynum-Odom-Metta for Howard-Arenas gets it done...
As a Spurs fan I could live with that ... it does not make the Lakers any better. Howard still has to improve in a lot of things offensively.
