I ing hate Ohio State, but that conference is theirs as long as Urban's heart desires.

Sucked losing to Michigan sat, but this hire makes up for it. Loved how Meyer mentioned that there was 362 days until the Michigan game.

    Welcome home Urban.

So is his health still a serious concern, or was that just an excuse to leave Florida?

After the press conference introducing him as coach, Detroit sports radio guys kind of got the feeling from what he said (their opinions, not mine) that Urban was sick of competing with other SEC schools and coaches and all the shady that was going on with recruiting. I didn't actually watch or listen to the press conference and don't know what he said exactly, but that's what the sports talk guys got out of a few of his comments. The Big Ten is down and for the most part, I don't think they over-recruit kids like SEC schools do. Meyer with his name, resume, and roots in two high school football hotbeds in Ohio and Florida should do really well with recruiting.

It might take a year or two, but I see him doing really well for a long time and getting Ohio State back on track really quickly.
