Typical Apple fan. Android ain't broken bro. Although it might not be as fluid as IOS yet. go try a galaxy tab and see if the "software needs fixin" Plus this thing is coming with ICS

LOL, the OTHER TV you were looking at.
He develops apps for both platforms I believe.
why would i get one that looks crappier?
You asked, I delivered.
ahh so you would get the crappier quality one.
BTW, it says it comes with Honeycomb...
tbh, I wrote some stuff for Android but nothing production quality yet. The other side is paying the bills, so...
No I havent tried out a Transformer other than toying with one in a store. My gripes about Android on a Tablet have nothing to do with the hardware side, there are several tablets with better specs, faster processors, more memory better cameras etc, but the overall experience is what those lack. I have seen people who have bought Xooms and other tablets buy one and take them back for some of the same reasons ive mentioned with my Galaxy Tab 10.1 experience. The haters will never know how bad they have it unless they actually own an Ipad or Ipad 2. I have owned both and wanted to keep the Galaxy Tab but it wasnt even close to something I would call a good product compared to my Ipad 2.
I would very likely get the less expensive one. 120 mhz isn't worth 800 dollars to me
I wholeheartedly disagree. Most of the android apps in the android app store are not even made to take advantage of tablets. I downloaded several Android apps for the Galaxy Tab that I had on the Ipad and was thoroughly disappointed. They just did not have the polish and the variety of apps still pales in comparison to the offerings on the Apple store. Although they do have a lot more apps now then they once did.
A newbie to these other tablets may certainly be happy with what their Android tablet does for them but once you have owned an Ipad 2 its pretty easy to see exactly how superior the Ipad is in overall experience. Sans camera (dont need it i have a good digital cam as well as decent one on my Iphone) Ipads actually can play flash with various browser apps, (flash is being discontinued by Adobe as the world evolves to HTML 5)
I would probably buy an Android tablet for a student if on a budget but for myself I tell people to save up a bit more and get an Ipad. For those saying that the Transformer is more like a laptop that sounds cool but I feel no need to replace my laptop. I would consider giving Android another try a little bit later down the road. Im not a bonafide hater. I would buy an Android phone after my contract with AT&T expires if they make one that gets good battery life which most of them currently lack. I have not read about battery life on the S2 but there would have to be quite an improvement in that regard for me to consider switching.
Do you own or have you owned an Ipad? My guess is no. If your happy with the Transformer cool beans buy one, if you have one keep it I repeatedly hear the same theme from Ipad owners who give an Android tablet the edge overall. We've already established some tablets certainly have some better specs and if that is more important than your overall experience thats fine the Transformer will not ever put a dent into Ipad sales. Everyone in the Tablet game would love to have half the success the first Ipad had and nobody is even close to that in terms of sell thru.
Every generation of Ipads will continue to get better and everyone else is just chasing them but eats their dust. Love it or hate it these are the facts.
Well this rules the Galaxy S2 out for my next smart phone purchase.

Sucks for that guy my battery on my S2 has 39% left and I charged it last at 6:30AM.
doubtful you gave yours as much as that dude during his workday.
How do you know? I use it quite a lot during a course of a day, including GPS, browsing, and calling. And more reputable reviews of the phone are showing much more battery life so why you'd trust some bootleg blog over several other sources I don't know.
"The story of the Galaxy S II's battery life cannot be told without returning to its luscious screen. Being an OLED panel, the 4.3-inch display here doesn't use one single backlight as LCD screens do, and instead only illuminates the pixels that are needed to actively display content. This is the reason why it can generate truer blacks than any backlit panel, but it also permits the user to optimize battery life by doing such things as switching to a darker wallpaper or reading ebooks against a black background. We didn't actually bother with such tweaks, we were too busy exploring every one of the myriad features on this phone, but the option's there as an extra dimension of obsessive control if you care for it. As to the Galaxy S II's actual endurance, we found it highly compe ive with the latest batch of Android phones. After 20 hours, half of which were filled with the above tinkering and exploration, we managed to drag the Galaxy S II down to 15 percent of its original charge. This was with our usual push notification suppliers, Gmail and Twitter, running in the background and while constantly connected to our WiFi network. "

Now my phone is rooted and I a custom kernel that even improves battery life and performance even more, but even at stock your phone shouldn't be dying in half a day.
I dont think its a bootleg blog, its this guys experience he points out the good things about the S2 as well.
people also line-up for krispykreme donuts and N-and-out burger
To each his own...i wouldnt be happy with a 70 inch that gets fuzzy after every movement,
I respect your opinion due to yor personal experience, but this is ridicuous. You already said that alot of other tablets have better hardware....software is personal preference. If other tablets are "chasing"...theyre probably only chasing the app store.
kk donuts and NanOUT burgers are the![]()
