Yahoo kind of made it a pain to renew leagues this year.

Not sure if you resolved the problem or not, but:

Go to Commish Tools, Invite Friends, and delete any old teams from the previous year that are listed there. That should fix the error everyone gets when they try to sign up. Yahoo is keeping a place holder for people that played last year. I had this problem with a Fantasy Football league I commish earlier this year.

As far as I know, that should be right. League ID # is 35192, password gospursgo.

Not sure why it seems to work for some people and not for others.

There was a problem
There is not room in this league if all teams from last year return. To join, get the commissioner to increase the maximum number of teams, or remove teams that will not be returning. (Error #638)

there's 18 spots currently available and only 12 teams signed up. so there's no reason a couple more people shouldn't be able to join. Maybe if there's still a few people who haven't renewed yet who are being given a chance to do so? Will that automatically expire in a day or two? or is there a way to email them and give them a chance to renew, and if they don't respond, or decline, then delete them? I can't tell. I can't find the list of last year's owners.

OK I sent out 4 messages to people who haven't joined back from last year, asking them to join by the end of the day or I'll delete their spot. I also deleted one person who doesn't have a visible email address, and who already received a message from Yahoo.
