Jesse Buss: "Don't you know who I am?" Cops: "Yes, you're still under arrest"

Jesse Buss might not have a role with the Lakers, but it appears he tried invoking his family connections when he was arrested early Friday morning on an alcohol charge in Lexington, Ky., according to WDRB-TV’s Tamara Evans in Louisville.

The report states that Buss, 23, was arrested at 3:39 a.m and "demanded preferential treatment from officers. He kept telling officers he was the son of Jerry Buss, owner of the L.A. Lakers."

Even if Jesse doesn't have an official role with the Lakers, he attended Coach Mike Brown's introductory news conference in May with his father and brothers Jim and Joey. Joey had told the Orange County Register's Kevin Ding in a recent profile that he remains close with Jesse and alluded to a night-club lifestyle. Jerry Buss was arrested in 2007 on su ion of driving under the influence of alcohol in Carlsbad.
