I like most of RG's posts in this forum...they are insightful, well-resourced and RG makes his stand and sticks to it..he doesn't waffle much..he's not much of a compromiser either...it's RG's way or the highway...probably just his nature...anything you post that doesn't fit into RG world is a grand conspiracy....forget facts, forget having an open mind, forget compromise....still, if there is one poster who regularly makes a stand, whose posts are well thought out, and doesn't just regularly nitpick other people post it's RG...
It's hard to keep up false persona in a political forum because you constantly have to fight revealing yourself by your 'personal beliefs and political leanings'.....Marcus Bryant is one of the best at this in the short term but in the long term his true persona always manages to overpower the false persona who he is trying to portray.....Reading this thread made me go look up who is the Stringer Bell troll.

It's not often you meet a person who has been around since the PMSA TRoll.net RackTheTRolls and SpursReport era.
How many of you here can say you organized many GTGs?
Joe has a unique talent to stay calm and to add humor to almost any situation. Not many here can say they have over 50 screen names that are creative and post regularly on a weekly basis.
You may not like Joe Chalupa but that doesn't mean his accomplishments can go unnoticed.
I did one.
That was enough.
Now I just have GTGs with all my other screen names.
I don't get pissed.

Nbadan is the glue of the forum back in the day when no one was posting he still keep things moving.
He is maybe the most dedicated poster of the politics forum and has no problem debating an issue. And can pull out links and videos Google had no idea were around.
The man is a combination of many posters already mentioned and deserves to share the #1 spot on the list.

Is the only poster I literately wanted to give up when debating. Most of the time its due to a poster acting like a child and ruining the debate but Chump takes getting under your skin to levels not seen before.
No matter who is winning the debate he is sure to get the last word in. His stubbornest is second to none. It wouldn't matter If Bush and the crew who planted the explosives at WTC buildings confessed on Larry King he would convince you its a coverup of some sort. The only other poster who can come close to his determination to stick to his cause is Cosmored and he is well known around the www and many talk shows.
You may not like ChumDumper but if you post in here you will recolonize his presents.

OK, I think you are that guy who didn't go to my GTG but said he did for some weird reason.
#5 for me is a tie between fromwaydowntown and baselinebum...both of them bring extraordinary expertise to the forum and both manage to rise above most of the petty bickering ...FWDT is a true independent while baseline, more progressive, has grown very bitter toward Obama lately...both need to post here more
#4 is Marcus Bryant and Winehole.....their takes are so ideologically intertwined I no longer know which was the original...and if they are not the same person then they post very much alike so they deserve to be tied anyway...both have solid facts, difficult to refudiate and at times, really depressing....they are the meat and potatoes of the forum..
when do you see them post?
#3 are Wild Cobra and DarrinS...they each bring such a unique view into the wing-nut mind...its one of those slow digressions that you have too see to believe....Still Cobra can hold his own in global warming threads even though you know that he's ultimately wrong....DarrinS is a trainwreck but lucky for him people like trainwrecks...his takes are weak, his logic not very well thought out, and his sources always dubious...he is the champion of wrong, a true wing-nut....
baseline posted here more here this year than fromwaydowntown...but as we look at the bigger picture, or the 6-7 years the forum has existed, both have represented more than sperminator, mr peabody, extra stout, angloco, and some of the better posters fron the past who are no longer around like maryannlovesginger and Whott..
