Don't worry I made those posts before I saw yours; I'm probably going to bed as well, I was 4-1 today in predictions and I'm not happy; that main event was very underwhelming, never saw a scenario where Bisping would win by TKO.

And with how the weigh ins went (Bisping overweight) I figured he would tire first. Hopefully Mayhem gets another fight in the UFC; but I don't like this tweet by Dana following the fight:

"The most one sided fight I might have ever seen in the UFC!" Considering Mayhem did a great job controlling the 1st round, not even close.

I just realised Sonnen vs Munoz is official... oh well.

Who does Bisping get next? Winner of Belfort-Johnson? Then the winner of that one should get the next le shot.. after Anderson beats winner of Sonnen/Munoz.

  9. #84
woo Belcher!!!! glad he is back, one of the last remaining MW I want to see get a le shot

    1. Sonnen
    2. Bisping/Mayhem winner
    3. Leben/Munoz winner
    4. Belcher
Since it is Sonnen vs Munoz, most logical next fight for Bisping is against Belcher.

Well that fight was a horrible joke. Mayhem should be cut for that performance. He gassed out after 5 min. Pathetic..

Sonnen and Bisping is a fight that has to be made IMO

Dana should make the change for the fox show now unless Bisping is unwilling or injured..

    that's an understatement

not only because both Sonnen and Bisping deserve to be ahead of Munoz in line for the le, but you also have to consider marketability. I know that Sonnen and Munoz would be a great fight...but I'd still MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH rather see Sonnen/Bisping

but again, mainly because those 2 guys are much more deserving of le shots than Munoz

Bisping vs Sonnen on Superbowl Weekend would be awesome. I hate Bisping, but he deserves to fight high level compe ion...and get his ass beat.

I like Munoz but he's not as exciting or entertaining a personality to warrant a le eliminator before Bisping. You'd think Dana would continue the Diaz/GSP epic fight making mindset, this is a wasted opportunity.

Jason had a long layoff, and really Dana is overreacting as usual

mayhem won that 1st round and if not for cardio he would probably win the contest.

Also the smaller cage was favoring Bisping.

Anyway it seems like Belcher gonna destroy The , if the matchup happens.
Bisping thinks he has great standup but IMO he makes some mistakes that Alan will capitalize on.

btw. 2 great wrestlers Munoz vs Sonnen but Munoz is a power striker and Sonnen is not. It all comes to a Sonnen control on the ground, and when he will be able to get Munoz down and how easily.

Miller over-trained and let the nerves get to him. He's not the brightest fighter, he's better off of instincts and I think he worked too hard for takedowns. Only fight for Bisping is Belcher or Stann, but I still wanna see Chael/Bisping really bad.

He had nothing for Bisping. That was as bad a stand-up display i have ever seen.

Well I need to re-watch the fight /because the stream was bad/.
I made a mistake by watching it at night ...

But I think Jason had that overhand right and was able to surprise Michael with it.
Bisping immediately put the hands up.

I would like to see Tony Ferguson vs Jeremy Stephens

Mayhem was literally charging forward throwing lazy telegraphed haymakers at Bisping. Bisping almost looked shocked at just how awkward and bad Mayhem was with his hands.. That was a fight that can end a career. Don't expect to see Mayhem again in any UFC main event..

Nice, Bispussy beat up ANOTHER ass fighter, and was gassed after 2.5 rounds. What a bag of . I can't tell if I'm happy or pissed about this. I'm happy because all of a sudden -Tooth will actually have to fight against someone who doesn't blow goats, and will get stomped. I'm sad because Mayhem looked like he was 45 years old, had been training all of three hours in the last 10 years, and will probably not fight again in the UFC. Bad ing form.

Anyone who honestly thinks that Bispussy put on a good show last night, or that he can even be considered for the top 50 in the world, has some serious issues. That whole display, from both fighters, was pathetic on SO many levels.

Man that was bad by Mayhem. The rest of the card was really really really good though. What a great overall season. Best one yet that I've seen.

    Dana

"It's one of the most lopsided fights I've ever seen. I'm disagreeing with people. I didn't give 'Mayhem' Miller the first round. He had a quarter of a mount and didn't do a thing and actually, Bisping was landing punches. I think Bisping landed more shots, did more damage. I go for damage and I think Bisping did more damage in the first round than Mayhem did. I don't know (if we'll see Mayhem back in the UFC). We'll see. He didn't have a good performance against Georges St. Pierre and he definitely didn't have a good performance against Michael Bisping."

Sonnen/Bisping was what the UFC wanted to make happen for TUF but Chael's license issues ruined it. Chael actually pleaded with the commission to license him in time at his hearing so he could coach TUF against Bisping but they screwed it up only to re-license him like a month later.. Mayhem was the last min alternative for the UFC more for his personality than his actual fighting abilities. Sonnen/Bisping is the most marketable fight to be made at MW right now.. Far and away..
