Wtf? Yeah he was a nice piece on a championship team but Dirk is clearly the main reason they won....without him do they even make the playoffs?

This seems to happen to players after they get a le for the first time! They let it get to their head.
That's just it:::Chandler never said a in' word, nor blew his own horn. Everybody else did it for him. Then when it got down to cases he delivered on the spot--ran everybody off'n' the paint area, one at a time---made it real uncomfortable to be down in there, so everybody one at a time started drifting off'n' the paint area. Chandler did what Dirk could never do, Cuban could never do, what the Mavs could never do. Chandler rang.

Can the Mavs afford it though? Aren't they already paying 30 million this year to Dirk and Terry? 20 million a year is high for Tyson Chandler. He's good but not 20 million a year good.

He was clearly the 2nd best player on the Mavs. 20 million is a stretch, but 12-15 is not. He will get that somewhere, just not in Dallas.

We have hybrid players, PF's playing at the C spot.
Centers like Chandler know it, and know they will get a load of $$$$ because most teams are desperate to get a real, decent C.
Chandler is a hybrid center as well. Just a better version of one. You can play Chandler at PF if you had a scoring center.
