certainly not, but as mentioned in the article, its the BCS that built them up. i never blamed the conference. i applaud it, actually. i blame the system.
note that i would be equally pissed if two Big 12 teams played in the national championship game. i certainly wouldn't be chanting "Big 12 Big 12."

A&M against Northwestern is interesting.. I like the match up, considering. The teams have never played each other; something different.
