Would be a nice consolation prize for not landing Butler and would be a nice mentor for Leonard.

he can't shoot the 3 ball so why should this be good news? Totally negative towards our spacing.

I think Hill is a much better fit for Spurs than Butler.

He shot 40% from 3 last season. Year before that he hit 43% from deep range. He can shoot the 3 ball just fine.

Hill can only play TD minutes...imagine the trainers dealing with Hill and TD after back to backs this season. Freakin drought here in SA, not enough Ice to go around

He has also played at least 80 games the last 3 seasons. His health has been just fine as well. If its a 2 yr/6 mil type a deal then it will be a great signing.

Throwing Leonard in the fire and having Hill as a backup is a nice plan to me.

Regardless, everyone who owns a George Hill jersey will hope that Grant decides to take that number also.

He's averaged 30mpg for the last 4 years barely missing any time in that stretch. He played and averaged more minutes than Tim Duncan last season.

lol if Grant is looking for a championship with Timmy then he's about 11 years too late.

If he was that serious about a ring I doubt he would still be considering Phoenix.

personally, the 90s kid in me would be stoked to have Grant Hill on the Spurs. Sign Penny as the backup pg and ill have to change underwear.

Don't love the signing but I'll give him a cheap 2 yr deal. He's been a good player for the last few seasons.

He played the same amount of minutes than RJ did last season to compare.... fyi
