I'm just sitting here perplexed at all the Laker fans getting excited about the possibility of the whole "CP3, Kobe, Dwight" coup when they were laughing at the Heat last year after their signings of their own Big 3. Nothing's nothing without chemistry, and who knows if they'll have it.

do you honestly think the Lakers are gonna get rid of Gasol and Odom for Paul without thinking long term? They won't make the trade unless they know Paul is going to be a Lakers for years to come.

But how? The Lakers don't have any valuable pieces left, and they aren't stupid enough to trade D12 for Gasol straight up when there are better offers elsewhere.

Don't be so sure. When healthy, he's easily #2 center in the league. If not healthy, he is $16M expiring KT. Any team with him coming can't lose either way. Remember Kwame's $9M KT netted us Gasol.
